Stopped in for the prime rib dinner.
Salad, Prime rib, baked potato, corn on the cob, toast,
All the food was done very well.
It was enough to fill me and I am not skinny.
Good service. Clean relaxed atmosphere.
Worth checking out with that special person.
The only reason I wouldn’t recommend them is because it’s so good a lot of people would be there.
But they are too good of a local business not too.

I thought we were going to a bar. They actually have a nice bar. What I was presently surprised with was the dining area, menu and quality of food. I highly recommend the sampler appetizer and the house made potato chips.

We came in late – getting cleaned up to close kind of late – after being sent over by the folks at The Barn. They went out of their way to make sure we were fed whatever we wanted and had cold drinks while the food was made. Everyone was super nice and super friendly even though we clearly were holding them up from being able to simply close up shop and go home. We are forever grateful for the hot meal and cold drinks after a long day on the road. If we’re running through this way again… we’ll be sure to stop in. BRAVO all around on exceptional customer service! Y’all rock!!

Went to Polaris of the Black Hills for service. We decided to go grab lunch while they worked on the SxS. We spotted Slash J Saloon from the interstate and decided to stop. I am so glad we did! The beers are cold, and the food was delicious! I got the Slash J Club sandwich with the homemade chips. So good. Sometimes a club sandwich can be dry. Not this one. The toast was crunchy, but not overly dry. Just the right amount of mayonnaise, and the ham and turkey were moist. The lettuce was crisp and cool. This could be the perfect club sandwich! The homemade chips were good, cooked perfect, but they could have used a little more of their signature seasoning. Looking forward to my next service at Polaris so I can go back!

This bar/restaurant is the real deal not your up-scale brew-pub pretending to be rustic. Don’t be put off if the mounted deer looks a little mangey or a motorcycle club shows up for dinner. The food is GREAT as long as you aren’t looking for nouvelle cuisine.

The food was wonderful! We ate here our first night of vacation and was the only place we revisited. The 2nd visit was the 4th of July. I guess they serve breakfast that day. We were the last customers of the day, but our server was kind and attentive despite the extra hours she worked.

I don’t go there often but went there today have a beer with a friend found glass on the rim of the beer jar and ask the bartender to get me a new beer and a new glass. The bartender played it off to the zooming the manager or the owner and she was extremely rude to me. As you can see I had maybe one or two drinks in the beer before I noticed it so it wasn’t like I drink the entire beer and then said something
