We enjoyed the Elk Burger, Bison Burger and the Feature Burger (French Onion) all with their shoestring fries.
Love the Farm to table menu and look forward to coming again.
We visited Olive Bistro last night, and it reminded me exactly why this place has always been one of my favourites in the area. It was a snowy Jasper evening, and stepping inside felt instantly cozy and warm — the perfect escape from the weather. The atmosphere was inviting, and it made for such a lovely family meal.
The drinks were delicious, just as I remembered, and the food was amazing from start to finish. The standout for me was the scallops — cooked perfectly, tender, flavourful, and honestly one of the best dishes I’ve had in Jasper in a long time. You can tell there’s real care in the kitchen.
So happy to see Olive Bistro reopened and thriving. We had a wonderful experience and will definitely be back. Highly recommend!
Madison was an excellent server, very welcoming and friendly, and made us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. We also truly appreciated Chef Daryl coming to our table to check on us. That personal touch meant a lot and made us feel valued as guests.
Overall, the food, service, and attention to detail made this a memorable experience. We will definitely be back.
Service was great and can’t blame the server. My partner got the French onion burger and it was good. Expensive for what it was but what do you except when you come to a tourist destination.
Drinks were also mediocre. I got an espresso martini for $16 and the vodka tasted very cheap and there was shards of ice in my glass
The highlight was the French onion soup, and that’s saying a lot. I’ve had this soup at many different restaurants, but from now on, I’ll only be eating it at The Olive. Easily the one of the best restaurants I have ever eaten at and will be my first stop every time we are in Jasper!
