Loved the vibe of this place. We didn’t get the bread we were supposed to get with our dumplings and they were out of beef. The chicken dumplings Alaska style were good. The potato and cheese Russian style had a ton of dill on them. Definitely get a bigger portion of you are planning on this being a meal.

I had the beef dumplings with the Alaskan sauce. Really good. The atmosphere was like a hole in the wall cafe. Definitely will come back.

Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling Co. is one of those spots that just hits right. The first time I went, I figured it would be decent, but it turned out to be way better than I expected. The whole place feels relaxed and unpretentious, and the food speaks for itself. It is hard to describe why dumplings this simple feel so satisfying, but they just do.
My usual order is the Beef Pel’meni Alaskan style with extra OG sauce. The mix of butter, curry, and spicy vinegar sounds odd until you try it. Then it makes perfect sense. Every bite has that rich flavor that keeps you going back for more. I have tried the chicken and potato versions too, and honestly, I have not had a bad plate yet.
The space is small, with a steady flow of people coming and going. The staff are easygoing and friendly, and it feels like the kind of place where everyone genuinely likes what they are doing. It is simple, comfortable, and always hits the spot.
If you are anywhere near Searcy and want something that feels homemade but better, go here.

This is a quirky place, put comfortable and fun. The dumplings were very good, and there were games, and music being played on vinyl. Recommended if you like offbeat dumplings. My partner insisted we go back a second time while we were in town. The snack size is plenty for a light meal.

Literally my fav restaurant ever I’m not joking. The dumplings are heavenly, both Alaskan and Russian flavors, and the cozy homey vibe is unbeatable. I have never been to another restaurant like this, it is truly one of a kind. I would happily take a multi hour road trip for Sladers.

If you find yourself in or around Searcy, definitely try this place. The menu is fairly priced, and the food is fantastic. I won’t lie, I was sceptical of this place when a friend brought it up as the place to meet and grab food, but I’m happy they did. The Alaskan dumplings were fantastic and fresh, and I’m sad I won’t be riding past Searcy on the way home to visit here again.

My first time at Slader’s Alaskan Dumpling and I enjoyed it! I live a food adventure and this was one for sure. I had no point of reference for Alaskan dumplings and the flavor combos. I think part of the key to their success is simplicity. You order dumplings or dumplings. That’s it. Now you can choose between potato, beef or chicken served two ways. We went with the Alaskan dumplings and the dumpling soup. Very filling and comes with a can drink. Eli was awesome at explaining and suggesting.

Discovered this little gem through a friend and omg the dumplings were amazing. The spices and sauce just right. They hit the spot for a comfort meal but also light enough for lunch, funky, fun and adventurous. Will definitely go again and again.

Wonderful small local restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, I’d highly recommend this gem. With a simple menu, you are just picking between beef, chicken, or potato dumplings. I got chicken my first time, but my favorite is definitely cheese & potato. Definitely try with original sauce and sour cream!
