1950s-style, fast-food eatery serving a variety of burgers, fish ‘n’ chips & ice cream desserts.

Typical roadside burger joint. Interior was dated, mostly tidy and somewhat comfortable. It is a counter order and wait until they call your name. Everything else is self serve.
We ordered a burger and a cheese steak sandwich. Both were good.
Nice pitstop on a long road trip.

Cute restaurant with car license plate all over the ceiling and walls. Nice atmosphere. Order at the counter and they bring food out. I had the fish and chips. It was average. Some what greasy. My friend had the burger. He said it was dry.

Good food, great customer service, they had our party of 17, with several different orders, served fast. On a different day, they let me come in and buy a drink from them so I could refill it while I had my meal at another restaurant down the street, because the down the street restaurant only served canned sodas (not refillable fountain drinks). So this place let me keep coming in during my meal I ate at another restaurant and I keep refilling my drink; super cool. Great service!

2.5 stars. Food was what you might expect from a tourist-oriented burger joint. Location is good. Atmosphere ok. We had to wipe down our outdoor tables. Prices were highway robbery— and this coming from a guy who spends a lot of money on dining out. Prices for a burger basket range from about $12-16. The value is just not there. Far from it. Sorry.

I love the atmosphere of the place! One of the few spots to eat in town so I decided to check it out! From the retro decor to the lovely staff working there, I really enjoyed it all. The food was great, I went with the Southwest Burger but there were so many other good options to choose from! Check out Slacker’s burger when you’re in town!

Tasty eat-in or take-out burger joint with a wide variety of foods offered. We had the Cod & fries as well as the Shrimp & fries along with small sodas from the fountain. They were cooked well and served hot. They do offer Fry Sauce here! Unique bright travel-themed decor. There are separate windows for orders and take-out. Employees were friendly and professional. They also serve a wide variety of ice cream treats. There is plenty of parking as well as outdoor picnic areas to enjoy your meal. There is a gravel parking lot but no reserved spots for the handicapped. Both men and women’s restrooms are inside. There is a sign out front stating they are (or were) the #4 Mom and Pop burger joint in Utah. They do take cash or credit cards. We would return here in the future.

We stopped to eat dinner here after a long day riding dirt bikes and it was pretty good. The food wasn’t quite the quality I was expecting for a $15 hamburger, but given the options of places open in Torrey at night to eat, I suppose we can’t be to picky.
I will say the service was fantastic though. The staff was very nice and they brought our food out pretty fast.
I ordered the bleu bacon burger and it was like a blue cheese dressing or something that I could barely taste.
My boy ordered a kids cheeseburger meal which seemed to have better value than my meal. It came with fries, a drink, and a soft serve ice cream for $10. He was pretty happy about it
All things considered, and given our options and circumstances, I’d probably go here again.

This is a really average burger joint and one that makes you wonder how it is surviving when its specialty burgers are more expensive than a vastly superior burger at the Capitol Burger food truck. It must get its business when Capitol Burger closes for the winter. That forced us to have to eat here.
The burgers were very average…like a 3.8 rating kind of burger. Seems like you’re eating a Costco version of most everything from the patty to the sweet potato fries to the salad.
The sweet potato fries and fry sauce were good. The onion rings were good. But apart from that, not much to boast about at Slackers.

Mid. $17 for a burger meal that is good, but nothing more. They are bad with assembly requests, putting mayo when they were told at the register it prompts allergies. When we informed the server of this, they just wiped off the mayo and gave it back to us on a new bun. Unprofessional. They had a handful of soda out of stock and their soda machines were even hooked up backwards- push on Dr Pepper, surprise, you get Root Beer. Their fry sauce is just red colored mayo – it didn’t have the appropriate mix with ketchup to qualify as fry sauce.
Onion Rings – beer battered and meh. I would not get again, overwhelming beer flavor compared to the onion and soggy/greasier than other places.
Sweet Potato Fries – actually great! Salty and fried just as you’d expect.
Regular Fries – a bit bland with a slightly crunchy exterior.
Southwest Burger – super messy but tasted pretty good. They were generous with the jalapeños which I appreciated.
Chicken Bacon Ranch Burger – subbed pepper jack instead of swiss and had to pay 75¢ for some reason. Tasted pretty good, the chicken patty was deep fried.
*Update – gave me bubble guts for the whole night and next day.

So disappointing. On a $70 bill they wouldn’t even give us 2 water cups. I told him just to charge me, but because I had already processed the $70 transaction, they wouldn’t process another transaction for only $.50, so I was out of luck.
Then the burger came out. Grossest bison burger I’ve ever had. The patty was considerably smaller than the bun, like a Jr. burger for $18. And cooked like a charcoal brick. Don’t take my word for it, check out the pictures.
