We chose this restaurant for our 10 year wedding anniversary dinner after hearing great things from multiple friends, but unfortunately our experience was very disappointing.
After being seated, it took over 15 minutes for a server to come to our table and greet us. That was after a busser had asked us if anyone had been to our table since we had been seated. He apologized plenty of times and said he would go get someone. When our food arrived, the mashed potatoes were so peppery they were almost inedible, and while my steak was just okay, my husband’s carbonara was not edible. In 13 years of dining out together, this was the first time he didn’t finish his meal — that’s how bad it was.
Our server wasn’t very attentive, and although we mentioned it was our anniversary, nothing special was offered or even acknowledged. The atmosphere around us also really affected the experience — a table across from us was extremely loud, and one man even had his shoes off in the dining area. To make matters worse, what appeared to be the owner or manager was sitting nearby taking shots with friends, being rowdy, and then later walked around asking tables how things were. By that point, we just wanted to pay and leave.
I will say the decor and atmosphere of the restaurant itself were beautiful and inviting, which makes it even more disappointing that the rest of the experience didn’t match. Sadly, we do not recommend this place and won’t be returning.

Sunday breakfast here was 10/10! Get the espresso martini’s and eggs benedict Staff was great and the vibes were beautiful in the back are with birch trees. Great stop in Marquette!

My 6 year old son and I visited today, and we were in town visiting, and decided to go here based on reviews and images of the food. It definitely did not disappoint. Our food was absolutely delicious. You get a significant amount of food, high quality, and fair price. Eli, our server was very accommodating and attentive. Really great experience!

Very nice atmosphere, super comfortable I love the lounge area so cozy , the wall paper has its own personality it made me smile. The Bartender was super nice and made an excellent mule with mango flavor super yummy. The Food is amazing the best fry’s thin and crispy delicious . Also Slabz is inside the Ramada so great parking and clean restrooms.

Kyla was amazing. She made my night with the half of oyster deal! I had the hanger steak and it was cooked to perfection. The drinks were great and made how I liked them with all of my silly requests. Overall I had a great time. I’m visiting from downstate and Kyla had some great recommendations for me to see. Go show her some love!

Great service and vibrant energy from Kaitie! We enjoyed a fantastic beet salad along with six delicious wings with habanero chutney. Wish we’d known the wings were smaller—we’d have gone for the twelve! Highly recommend.

Our first visit but it sure won’t be our last! OMG this was brilliantly prepared food and we were lucky enough to be there after the rush so got to talk to the staff and learn about the food in detail. Rob our server and David, the manager(?), were as sweet as they could be. The cocktails were spot on and we loved the little bowl of housemade chips and whitefish dip as an amuse bouche. We shared a French Onion Soup that rivals the best we’ve ever had. The Burger Royale was exactly as advertised with a thin mini bun between the burgers. The Fish and Chips was perfectly cooked and our diner chose more pub chips over the more traditional fries. I had the Smoked Whitefish Raviolo and could not have been happier – it reminds me so much of the Smoked Whitefish Agnolotti I used to be able to get at Tracey’s in Munising I’ll be back just to enjoy this dish again. For dessert we shared the Pot de Crème with the toppings on the side and the Maple Walnut Blondie. We kept saying we had to stop eating and yet, we kept putting bites in our mouths. Bonus points for live music in the lounge that you could enjoy in the dining room that was not too loud to talk over. If we lived in the area this would be a once a week dinner for us every week of the year. As it is, we’ll be back the next time we’re in town!
NOTE: This restaurant is located inside the Ramada Inn and there was not good signage that we could see coming from downtown Marquette, nor from the parking lot. We trusted to Google and Facebook that we were in the right place until we saw the host podium and the sign inside the hotel lobby.
