Did not disappoint at all. Their Brisket was really good. Highly recommended it. Got the sampler and there was 6 of us and it was plenty. Maybe add another side but still plenty to go around. Love the rice and the beans, the ribs, the chicken wings. Fried cheese was great. Highly recommended.

I was looking around to find a bbq place to enjoy dinner at and I found Slab Daddy BBQ online. I’ve been to many BBQ places but let me tell you. Slab Daddy has a great family vibe, the service was very friendly and the food was amazing for the price. I highly recommend this place if you’re looking for a BBQ place with great food and service.

We came here because of the good reviews and really regretted it! We were recommended the platter for two. We chose that and had high expectations for the hefty price of $64. We sat outside, even though it was quite windy. The food came very quickly and was already cold when it was served! We complained immediately, but even briefly reheating it in the microwave didn’t help. The quality of the meat was also less than satisfactory. The meat couldn’t be removed from the ribs. It was completely hard and tough. The rest was also just reheated and therefore really awful. We can’t explain why other guests had a better impression of the restaurant. We were very annoyed to have to pay $75 for this meal and drinks. We have rarely had worse food, and we travel a lot.

Every single dish was a banger. I had the fritanga-style platter with combo with rice/beans, coleslaw, and plantain chips and added Mac and cheese and brisket to the order. The sweet fruity glaze on the spare ribs was delicious, the brisket had a perfect smoke ring, decent bark and was still moist and tender despite me showing up at the end of lunch service. The rice had some beans that were wonderfully stewed with veggies on top. The Mac and cheese was really flavorful, not clumpy but was still super thick and soft, even the cornbread was soft and not crumbly and had like a honey butter glaze that was excellent.
The two guys that took care of me were both very cool and the service was excellent. You can tell they are proud of their small but superior establishment. I can’t wait to go back!

Delicious. We loved the food and the athmosphere. We had the “Tray for two”, it was just enough (when you’re really hungry you should order some extra sides or you eat this by yourself).

I loved this place… off the beaten path. The brisket, pork, ribs, rice and beans were AMAZINGLY DELICIOUS!!!! The Mac noodles were a little more al dente than l prefer. The corn bread, suggestion… more moist, more sugar and a touch more heat…. that would have set the meal off. Other than that I really honestly enjoyed it. Thank you for bring such wonderful food to Miami!!! We need more places like yours here in the city. You and your mom were so kind and welcoming. Love it. We will be back.

Great BBQ. Served up fresh, by about the nicest fella you’re going to meet. Had the platter for two and the brisket was the star of the show. The ribs a second place to the brisket, with the pulled pork coming in last place (only because it was a bit too peppery for my tastes, and also a bit too…wet/soggy, but otherwise flavorful). Mac and cheese was great. Cornbread was delicious, but a tad too dry (but none of it was left behind). All in all, a great place and I’ll gladly return and bring others. Thanks, Adrian.
