This very casual, low key almost fast food restaurant has good diner eats for nostalgic Americana with the full origin story of creator and Greek native – American dreamer, Adeeb Mislch
You can enjoy the Coney dog with/or without the chili done 3-4-5 way. To find out the difference you’ll have to visit. They also had summer special ice cream floats and funnel fries as well as small treats at the front. With tons of food under $30 for two in today’s restaurant eateries that’s a great value. Thanks for my first but not last visit to Skyline!
The hot dogs were good and the spaghetti was alright by itself, but the chili was delicious.
I tried the spaghetti with cheese, with chili, and then with both cheese and chili. The spaghetti with both cheese and chili was the best version of the dish.
The chili was good and it had a bit of a spicy kick to it. It wasn’t anything crazy, but it definitely has some spice flavoring (which I really liked).
The funnel cake fries were, by far, the best part of the meal. They were fresh and crispy, tasted great, and were probably the best funnel cake fries I’ve ever had.
The service was quick and the waitresses were very nice. The restaurant was clean as well.
There’s plenty of parking at the sides and back of this restaurant, so parking shouldn’t be a problem either.
Overall, it was a great experience and I’d definitely recommend coming here, especially if you’re visiting from out-of-state!
If you dine in, you can find your seats by yourself and the staff will come with the crackers and two small bowls for you to pour the crackers and ask what drinks and food would you like to order. But it was a bit different for us since it was our first time here, so we asked for the menu because we had no idea what to order (not like the others as we believe they have known the regulars) while ordering drinks – I thought they would give us the menu first then serve the drinks while we could order the food so the buffering time won’t take too long as the waiting time for the drinks can be our chance to study the menu since it shouldn’t take a long time with a compact list of menu. Nonetheless, the staffs and service were super great since they are very attentive and had quick responses also they made the best time to clean up the mess both on the tables and floor which was great so the place won’t look so messy as people come and go in the short amount of time.
Food-wise, I got the 3-way so it’s the spaghetti, chili, and cheese while my friend got the 4-way with an additional onion. There is also the 5-way where you can get both onion and beans – you can choose either one when you order 4-way. Also, they have three sizes of small, regular, and large. It was so delicious??! The meal was the highlight of my day and the chili has a super authentic flavor as I could sense some herbs/spices.. maybe cumin included in it if I’m not mistaken. Overall, the food was great and I could say it was one of the comfort food that we might have in our lives and that is why people love it!! Super recommended when you’re around in Cincinnati 🙂
