Skyline Chili originated in Cincinnati, Ohio (Go Buckeyes). Their chili sauce is like no other, and I have never heard a person say they didn’t like it. I have heard many people say that it has a unique taste and they would for sure be back for more. skyline serves spaghetti with your choice of chili sauce, a huge amount of cheddar cheese or just a little bit, diced onions, and beans added or not added. If you’re not in to spaghetti they also have hotdogs with your choice of all the toppings including mustard usually. I suggest the cheese coney and you’ll get a hotdog with mustard, onions, onions and a huge amount of cheddar cheese or just a little bit. Order two of the coneys, an order of shoestring fries, and if you’re not full then maybe order just one more coney. Two coneys too much, then order one coney, an order of fries, and a Greek salad that is not just equal to the best Greek salad you’ve ever had, but better. Skyline has many more items on their menu that are also delicious (I know because I’ve had every menu item more than once). One more thing, I double dog dare you to try Skyline’s hot sauce. Enjoy!

I’m so disappointed. I’ve been eating at this restaurant for over 30 years. Maybe I’ve never ordered a small 3 way to go before because when I got back to my office I about fell over at how small it was. This container was 4″ at the bottom, 5″ at the top and 1″ deep and this cost me almost $8??? And then to find out that they forgot the cheese. Going to have to rethink this restaurant as a go to.

Different than your average chili recipe it was my first experience. The prices are great the menu is simplistic and even have an option for vegetarian and children. The facility including the restrooms were clean. It was not overcrowded and overall it was a nice quick experience. The waitress was by herself but she wasn’t very welcoming and was kinda rude to the older people that were there. I would recommend and I love supporting family ran businesses.

had a very unpleasant experience at this location on Wednesday at approximately 2:03 PM.
When I walked in, the restaurant was still full of customers actively eating, and there were hot dogs and spaghetti visibly sitting on the flat top. Two people were already standing at the register, and I waited several minutes while an employee stood behind the counter writing on a piece of paper and attempting to use a credit card machine. After waiting 3–4 minutes, she finally acknowledged me.
I politely said I’d like to order a few coneys to go. Her response was blunt: “We’re closed.”
I was confused, given that customers were still dining, food was still out, and staff were actively packing up orders. When I questioned this, she repeated, “No, we’re closed,” with no explanation or courtesy.
Beyond the rudeness, the atmosphere was disgusting. The restaurant looked unclean, uninviting, and poorly maintained — not something you expect from a place still serving customers at the time.
This was not just disappointing customer service; it was dismissive and unprofessional. If the store was truly closed, that should have been clearly communicated before customers were left waiting at the counter. I will not be returning to this location. We visit the Naples location all the time and the owner is usually there which is why I think it is always good there. If I owned this location I would be embarrassed.

My family has Ohio roots and we’ve always eaten chili over spaghetti. Since Skyline started selling canned chili in the grocery store I’ve been eating it and enjoying it. So was excited to try Skyline chili in one of their restaurants. The chili did not disappoint I really enjoyed it. The only complaint I have was that the plate that the chili was served on was too small for the portion making it sloppy and hard to eat. That said I was not impressed with the restaurant it self. First the sign in the outside of the restaurant was not lit making the restaurant hard to find. I told my server about this and she said the sign has been out for years. Also the restroom had a broken light that made a terrible noise and the restroom needed cleaning. I think the restaurant should address the broken items and freshen up the place some, which would make the dining experience much better.

What can you say about a ‘chili parlor’? I am so glad they are here in Florida. A regional delicacy such as “Cincinnati Chili” needs to be experienced by people all over the country, as much as a Detroit Coney Island or a Buffalo Beef on Weck. I wish Skyline would fill the gap between Tampa and Ft. Myers with a restaurant somewhere in between. For me that would be Punta Gorda or Port Charlotte/North Port.

I am from Indiana have been a skyline customer for years. This was the worst one I’ve ever had. Was so excited to find one here I asked if the spaghetti was fresh the mgr told me they make its once a day early in the morning 1st red flag. I ordered a 3 way extra pasta it was the smallest chili I’ve ever had. It was cold she said they steam the cold pasta it was nasty the chili was watered down very watery. Hardly no cheese. The place was old and very outdated. Mgr was rude. Found out the same owner runs Naples as well as Ft.Myers so that sums up me trying the food there. Very disappointed and beware food is not fresh.

My family loves this chili. I am not a fan but the location was close to our Airbnb. We thoroughly appreciated the service. Quaint location and affordable.

We are from Cincinnati. Oh, how the Lambrinides family would be disappointed. This was the worst location we have entered. The restaurant had an unusual odor. Staff was ridiculously slow. They couldn’t even bring our food (for just 2 people) at the same time. Orders were left sitting on the counter needlessly. The chili did not taste the same as other locations. It had way too much cinnamon in it. The bathroom looked like it was in a dirty gas station. Roll of towel not attached to anything and the trash can was in the hallway. If I would have seen that first, I wouldn’t have eaten there.
