I was honestly surprised at how pretty good the food was. My pork and my husbands chicken was pretty tasty and not dry at all. The fries wonton were also pretty good. Would definitely try again especially since its the closest to get to.

Despite never having Chinese food before coming here, the food weirdly feels nostalgic and reminds me of childhood. The cashier lady seems stern but is quite nice. They have a pretty massive menu, and I’ll keep coming back to try more things.

Food is great. Service is getting better. The man who answers the phone now is friendly. Miss lady who takes the payment and call the numbers (owner) had an attitude with me the first time I came in but I shut it down. Now me and her cool.

The food is decent.. but you will never get as good of chinese food as you do in NY. What drove me to leave this review though was my experience today..

My order was written down incorrectly. Things happen I get it, we all make mistakes. When we got home my son took a bite and said this is not pork. I called and they were willing to make it right. Awesome.. i’ll drive the 15 minutes back now it is what it is. The disturbing part was that they took back the other dish, even after I told them it had been ate from. I even said are you sure you’re allowed to take this back?? One bite or not, they still should not be repackaging that to another customer. I’m hoping they threw it away but my hopes are not that high.

I was told by 3 people that Sky Dragon food has changed and it’s garbage. I couldn’t believe them and ordered from them anyway. As i have been eating from there for the past 18 years and their food has always been top notch very authentic like being back in NY. Anyway we placed an order last week and the food was horrible. Crab rangoon tough hard to bite and chew. wonton egg drop the wontons were terrible, Eggroll barely filled and taste was off.
It was all terrible.
We took the food, tossed it in the trash and ate cereal for dinner. Don’t waste your money there anymore.
Shame wish the quality of the food could go back to what it used to be.

People please understand the lady that cashes everyone out isn’t being rude, it’s just Asian culture. I won’t go into further details more than the fact I’m part Asian & completely understand the culture.

Bought for my mother, brother, & myself. Food was great & will be back. Got the house lo mein & house fried rice. A lot of chicken, pork, & shrimp. The food being sold here reminds me of the Chinese food I ate as a child growing up & the family that ran the restaurant were of Hong-Kong decent & the food was wonderful. Buying Chinese food from oriental owned restaurants is the best!!!!!

This restaurant has been converted to be take out only. There is a plexiglass partition that separates staff from customers which is a little hard to understand questions through, but I appreciate the safety measure. They have a few chairs outside for you to sit while you wait for your order, which was nice.
I went at about 2pm on a Friday and found no line. I ordered the spare ribs lunch combo and was asked if I wanted boneless or with bone (the plexiglass made me ask “what?” a couple times before connected and got the boneless spare ribs rung in. That comes with rice (I got fried rice) and soup (I got wonton soup.) It was unclear if it came with an egg roll based on other reviews or the menu (dinner plates do but no soup, lunch doesn’t mention egg rolls.) So I specifically asked for one and also ordered a krab Rangoon appetizer. We passed credit card and receipt through a little drawer in the partition (I was shown itemized receipt briefly against the glass but only received a copy to sign and guest copy, no big deal but this is part of why I still don’t know if the egg roll was included. ‍♀️) I was told it would be ten minutes and I sat down outside to wait. Another customer ordered after me and was told five minutes (very simple order.) They got their food and then mine was called, MAYBE I waited 5 minutes but I was already chowing down and backing out of my parking spot before my 10 minute timer went off.

The food;
Spare ribs – I actually have never ordered this before so I can’t compare it, but they hit the spot. Large portion, very tasty. A few fatty spots but cooked so I was not at all tempted to try to eat around that.
Fried rice – very standard version, nothing spectacular. Probably less greasy than a Panda Express style, but not main course worthy like some sit down spots.
Egg roll – again pretty standard. Cooked nicely, good complement to the meal, not one I would seek out for a craving but good.
Krab Rangoon – quite good actually. The first few were sooo hot still I was puffing air through it, but so crispy and the filling is just a little sweet you don’t really need a sauce. They got a little chewy as they cooled but that didn’t slow me down. Would definitely order again.

Overall impression: very good staple, pretty consistent across my dishes, would be happy to try other menu items in the future. And you really couldn’t beat the wait time for a late lunch, definitely faster than the drive through across the street and far more satisfying. I have enough left overs for another meal easily too.

Nothing special at all. The fried rice and sesame chicken taste like frozen food chinese food. Actually Trader Jo’s has better tasting frozen food (try the orange chicken and thank me later). The crab rangoon was the only item worth mentioning.

I called about spare ribs and the lady I spoke with was so rude. As a first time guest inquiring on your food etc, a little patience and respect would have been nice. I won’t be eating or buying here!

I’ve been coming to this place for years and have noticed a decline in not only food but service. The woman who answers the phone has always been haste and snippy but lately it’s been over the top. Recently, I went to pick up an order and this same woman started complaining to me about the work environment and mistreatment of the boss, which I totally don’t agree with but also don’t think it’s something to be sharing with patrons. Then today, I call to put in an order and this same woman, who told me she was being spoken to inappropriately by her boss, was literally yelling at me as I attempted to put in my order, clearly not listening to what I was saying and telling me how should order as though I work there. I understand and have empathy when it comes to being busy and overwhelmed, but I’m the customer, and go there at least once a week, the work unhappiness does not need to be taken out on the customer. She hangs up on me without giving me a number, to which I call back to get as to avoid her yelling at me about this when I go pick up. When I pick up, she’s literally sitting with a customer , discussing her frustrations while the customer consoles her and tells her she’s doing a great job. Beautiful from the understanding customer, super unprofessional from the employees end. Anyway, even though she made me repeat what I was order at least 5 times and yelled at me for not ordering in the way she preferred , I get home, and my order was still wrong. What is the incentive for continuing to support this business when my takeout is served with a side of attitude?
