My first visit (August), I’d give 2.5 stars. Zach was our server and was great! From the pictures, you can see all that was ordered. I loved the crab dip with the pretzel bread and the crab crusted oysters. I also ordered the dynamic duo which to my disappointment came out cold. It wasn’t even lukewarm. The whiskey sirloin was cool too. The grapefruit crush was yummy. Just has a lot of pulp.
My second visit was much better in October. I ended up getting the rockfish which was delicious! My soup was piping out. And the raw oysters were fresh.
Cozy vibe in there and they also have outdoor seating for nice days.
The soup and the dip were OK – a bit too much cream and too much of salt to my taste. Crabs were good if you like fiddling with them of course. .
This is more of a fish&chips style of place, with relatively high prices. Plastic glasses didn’t contribute to the atmosphere.
We made reservations for Valentine’s Day due the holiday it was packed up so parking was a little tricky but we made it work by creating our own parking spot. Upon entering we were immediately greeted. Although we had a reservation they had no tables available so we opted to sit anywhere which was by a door that they kept going in out so it made it extremely cold. Our server was warm and apologetic. The service was super slow. We order their Valentine’s Day special for 2 and our son ordered a burger. The food was okay nothing to write about. I ordered the oysters they were dried out and had no flavor. I got the busso my noodles were overcooked and sticky, my spouse got the filet and lobster we requested our champagne with our meal but they didn’t bring it until our meal was almost done. The filet was not done we requested well done. The appetizers took 45 minutes to come out our meal took an hour and a half to come out. Needless to say we were just ready to go. My son got a cheesecake to go and it looked like they forgot to cut a piece it was so small for $12! We are feeling indifferent about this place. We plan to give them another try during crab season on like a Wednesday hopefully it will be a better experience.
Stay tuned we will update this review in the summer!
But bottom line is that it’s a replace on the water with a fun vibe, great views, creative menu, all the drink options you could want, and good eats. First time for us and our group unanimously agreed we need to come back asap! Happy Hour loading…
