I thought all the Skippers were closed. They are no longer in Idaho. So imagine my surprise when we came across this Skippers. It is especially meaningful to us because our first date approximately 43 years ago was at a Skippers.

It reminds me of the time I went to Skippers as a kid when it was on the Strip, where China Buffet used to be, I remembered my dad taking my brother, and I when you used to have the all you can eat fish and chips. Keep in mind the fountain drinks don’t come with the meal.

Kind of a shame that you get a cold out of the fridge bread bowl .. it’s kinda hard to eat when it’s rock hard: ( good chowder.. Convenient that you can get coffee or Italian sodas at the same time and the froyo looks like fun. Can I get my bread warmed up if I ask for it?

Skippers in la grande is awesome. I can grab an iced coffee, froyo, and lunch all in one spot. The froyo is really good and has a variety of toppings. We enjoy going there for fish n chips, and clam shower. Our kiddos love the chicken strip baskets and they have generous portions.

It’s been a couple years since I’ve eaten at Skippers. It was good and the staff was friendly. The fish isn’t the same and it’s definitely smaller, but it’s still fun to visit Skippers, none the less

5 dollars for a small cup of soup. 12.99 for a piece of fish that’s half the size of a mcdonalds fish patty, 9 tiny shrimp, a small handful of fries. And there was more tarter sauce than the coleslaw that was supposed to come with the fish and shrimp basket. I wish I would of taken a picture. Not eating here again. But hey it looks like a starbucks on the inside so I guess they think it’s worth it.

Great food and great service! The staff was super friendly, when my food came out it looked great and tasted great! I would recommend to all if they haven’t tired this place out yet! They also have great beer on tap!
