I love this place. I always go here on a date, alone to have some cocktail and have drinks with friends! Always have the best cocktails, good quality Portuguese wine and snacks. Their truffle chips with salami is must have!!!! The canned snacks is also delicious! Stunning interior and always friendly atmosphere!

Stopped in to Grace & Proper for cocktails and they were all amazing!
I started with an espresso martini. Rich, creamy and not too sweet. Just how I like it. I then had a tequila drink – the sumo de manga. This was fantastic. It was well balanced and fruity with the dried mangoes in it.
My friend had the special ghost in the machine cocktail which featured pumpkin, white negroni and mezcal. The flavors all worked well together, she ordered a second one.
I will absolutely come back in the future!

Super cute corner bar with upscale cocktail options and appertivo. We enjoyed manchego & macron almond appetizer and ordered mules made with the Boyd & Blair vodka (distilled in Glenshaw, PA) and a dash of bitters. They do not stock ginger beer, but instead offer a housemade ginger syrup which was delicious. Bar staff are super attentive. This place is small and cozy and busy but with patrons frequently coming and going so it was not too difficult to find a seat at bar. The atmosphere was bubbly, music bumping and they were playing a championship play off game on the TV but that was definitely not the focus of the room.

G&P baby!!! If you have not been, it’s worth a trip. Portugal inspired for food and some of their beverages. Amazing cocktail program, some great snack and slightly larger food options, cool outdoor area but 2 things really set them apart. The awesome old converted corner building and rustic interior, but also the staff. Everyone behind the bar is friendly, accommodating and a pro. Bar service only for orders which is actually great for efficiency. 20% grat added to every bill which sometimes might annoy me, but not at g&p – they earn it every time and living wages are important, especially if you want places like this to exist. Try their small pours of SuperBock – Portuguese tasty treat in the perfect size to order like 3-4.

Unfortunately, this place automatically charged a 20% gratuity when I and two other friends had a few drinks and food at the bar. Automatically adding the tip for large parties is understandable but not for 3 people sitting at the bar.
Portion sizes are another issue, order the “The Loaded Olive Oil” and find out – the plate is pretty, thats about it. Try adding a few actual olives… The Bifiana is just ok I understand running a resturante is difficult but this is not the way to do it. I really wanted to like this place because of the Portuguese items but I won’t be back unfortunately.

Knowledgeable staff making unique cocktails. Their tapas menu is thought and tasty. Been coming back ever since my 1st time. If you sit at the bar, do not block the service station.

This place is fantastic and one of the only places in the area to get a great cocktail. Staff are kind and the food is great. Adding 20% gratuity is exactly what the staff have earned and deserve. If you can’t tip well then stay at home 🙂

just in passing noticed patrons enjoying olives and a cocktail. looked great & we stopped in. quality was very good however portions were small. bartender mentioned there was no table service. still cool even when I returned silverware back to bar when finished..HOWEVER DO NOT APPLY A 20% TIP !!!! BS
I’m not sure if this tip gouging was displayed in public area or on menu but it just wrong. guess I am old school…I used to think tipping was based on overall enjoyment

I stopped into Grace and Proper, a charming little cocktail bar tucked into the Italian Market, and it was such a great experience. Ray and Jesamay were incredibly warm and welcoming, and they crafted me a perfectly balanced Corpse Reviver that was packed with flavor.
To pair with it, I chose the vegan baguette, which was fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The vibe here is relaxed and cozy, an ideal spot to unwind in between exploring the market.
If you’re doing a tour of the Italian Market, I definitely recommend adding this stop to your list. It’s got that mix of great drinks, good food, and genuinely kind service that makes you want to come back.
