Loved their food!
It’s a small restaurant so you may have to wait. But its so worth it. We got there around 9:15, so we didn’t have to wait, and it was a Wednesday morning.
Definitely is our go-to breakfast restaurant when we visit Windsor!

Lot’s of regulars and it’s obvious why. Food and service were both great. Customers were happy. Food was, quick, hot, a good sized portion, served with smiles and light conversation, not to mention….really yummy! Thank you to Jason (a regular) for the recommendation on the southern skillet. Couldn’t eat it all in one sitting but I’m looking forward to 2nd breakfast!

Food is diner fare. The real treat is the service. It was so fast and we were ready to order cause we were hungry. The waitress noticed our Dog centered shirts and smiled saying that she was a dog mom. The early lunch crowd was starting to come in and they treated everyone like family. Food was there in 10 minutes. The table we were at was Flipped in less than 3 minutes and the people already had menus and water.

Was able to be seated immediately around 8 am on a Thursday. There was only one server working but they hustled and made sure you are taken care of. This place is a more modern diner so it’s fine just feels a little sterile. I decided to go with the breakfast tacos and they were good just nothing ground breaking here. The hashbrowns were fine I just thought they could have used some more flavor. But the thing that left me wanting more was the diner coffee. That traditional diner coffee that is like a nectar of the gods for weary travelers and the hungover alike, but this coffee… was too watered down and didn’t smack me in the face with the traditional bold coffee diner experience.

Food was good. Service was great. Waitress was kind, helpful & was smiling the whole time. Happy people can be contagious & who doesn’t need more joy in their lives. Definitely recommend!

We had a good breakfast here. The food was on par with a breakfast diner. The fruit cup was really good. Service was great.

Stopped in for a chorizo skillet. Decided to only have coffee. The girls were super polite. Coffee was strong and I really enjoyed my 20 minutes of time to myself. I will have to eat next time. 🙂

I expected more with how many stars this place had. The staff is very friendly and they have lots of different tea options.
The benedict and hashbrowns were bland. The green onions on top gave it a little something, but it was not a great meal. My friend felt similarly.
The seats are not comfortable/supportive.
Plenty of parking available.

Skillets Cafe has a relaxed vibe to it and is an amazing place for both breakfast and lunch. They have both indoor and outdoor seating.
We were warmly welcomed and the people here were the friendliest and nicest people ever! The service was excellent and the food came out quickly after ordering it.
The food was delicious and made me wonder why I don’t eat out more for breakfast! The portion sizes are generous, especially for the prices. We truly loved everything about our breakfast experience here from start to finish! Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Great old school feel diner. East access of 101. Service is good, coffee always full. Nothing mind blowing, but everything tastes like you would hope for diner food and prices are reasonable; what more could you ask for.
