My friend and I went to this restaurant last Saturday morning and we had an absolutely amazing experience from start to finish! The food was utterly delectable and generous, especially the French toasts, which were nothing short of heavenly and easily the highlight of the meal.

Ash, our server, was absolutely fantastic! Her energy lit up the entire experience, her recommendations were spot-on, and she was incredibly warm, attentive, and welcoming throughout our visit. She truly went above and beyond! Honestly, she definitely deserves a raise!

I highly recommend The Skillets to anyone looking for outstanding food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable dining experience. I’ll definitely be back!

Skillets has incredible food, spectacular service, and a laid back, fun vibe. A phenomenal restaurant for dates, dining solo, or brunch with friends. They don’t take reservations but are more than worth the wait!

The Tower For Two was simply divine. I could’ve taken home a bucket of the pistachio cheesecake topping included with the waffle fondue and the house-made cream cheese trio was a real treat. The drip coffee was superb as well!

Skillets elevates the Salt Lake dining scene to a new level. Best brunch I’ve had in the valley so far! Do yourself a favor and eat at Skillets today!

There was a line, but the two of us only waited about half an hour. Service is as friendly as everyone says! We weren’t super hungry, so we ordered French toast flight, a side of tater tots, and a hot cocoa to share.

The French toast was delicious- I liked the Biscoff flavor the best. The tater tots were super crispy and the green sauce was bright and tasty. The cocoa was not great…thin and REALLY sweet.

If you’re in the mood for a cute hipster brunch, and eating really decadent food, this is the spot!

Tasty. We waited about 10 minutes to be seated. Small space and very busy but our visit was calm enough to hear one another at the table easily. Wait staff was friendly and efficient. We had a party of 3. My daughter and I split a Vegetarian Skillet and both walked out full enough as I am a small eater and she had another meal she was planning to get to later. Her partner enjoyed The Rueben and said it was quite good. The cilantro sauce on the side is super yummy. We all agreed it would be worth another visit in the future although this was a weekday morning. As it is so small, I’m not sure what the time frame waiting would be on a weekend.

Skillets Breakfast & Brunch in Salt Lake City absolutely lives up to the hype, and the #1 voted breakfast burrito alone is worth the visit. From the first bite, it’s clear why this spot is so highly rated—the burrito is massive, perfectly balanced, and packed with flavorful eggs, crispy potatoes, savory meat, and just the right amount of cheese. Everything tastes fresh and made with care, not rushed or generic. The menu has something for everyone, whether you’re craving classic breakfast staples or something a little more indulgent. The atmosphere is welcoming and relaxed, making it a great place to start your day or enjoy a leisurely brunch. Service is friendly and efficient, even when they’re busy, and the staff genuinely seems to care about the experience. Skillets has quickly become one of my go-to breakfast spots in Salt Lake City, and it’s easy to see why locals keep voting it the best. Highly recommended.

The customer service was so amazing. Food was great. Views were awesome. Table of six, and we all enjoyed our meals. We had the breakfast for champs, the skillet, the burrito, and the chocolate french toast. Ash was awesome and very kind and gave us the energy we needed to finish our last day in Utah! Loved it. 10/10

fantastic breakfast at skillets!
only downside – the restaurant inside is not very big, with few tables for large parties. we were 5 and waited about 15-20mins. there’s the option to sit in their larger outdoor area that is warmed by heat lamps but it felt too cold for that.
service was friendly and efficient throughout, from hostess to server to bussers, everyone was great.
the food was the best! we ordered the french toast flight, tower for two, and the seasonal harvest bowl. everything was presented beautifully, especially the tower for two that elicited oohs and aahs from our young children. it was just so much fun to eat, something you don’t experience too often in restaurants these days imo. standouts from the tower for me were tater tots w/ famous green sauce and waffle fondue. the french toasts were hands down best french toast i’ve ever tasted, and i love that you don’t need to choose between their three equally delicious signature flavors. just have them all!
would love to return on a warmer day and enjoy it all again on their patio

Very much one of my go-to restaurants for breakfast or brunch! It is so welcoming and the food is completely elevated compared to other breakfast and brunch places—you will have a great meal that is tasteful and tasty. Ciara is my personal favorite server, but all the staff are very friendly and make sure you are never missing or waiting for a request. I personally enjoy the French toast options. For my fellow Eggs Benedict people, it’s top notch—using pork roll for the meat. It can be busy on the weekends during the winter (but totally worth a 15 min wait), during the week you can walk right in. They have a covered patio with heating for other seasons that is wonderful.

Small very loud spot. Glad
When we went we actually didnt have to wait to be seated but it did get busy! But If you like to sit super close to people I guess it’s fine but my chair seemed like I could touch the person behind me if I barely moved back. I have not tried other things they had which looked delightful and
the presentation was beautiful but the tator tots with shredded beef and egg really didn’t have a flavor to me. The green sauce did make
It better tho.
And it came out a little cold.

It is worth the hype. Food is phenomenal! Ciara was our waitress and she was exceptional. We ordered a few dishes to try and took alot home. But my favorite was their burrito and French toast.
