I really want to leave less stars. The food is quite tasty. I would be back but not for the weak amount of chicken they put on my 14 dollar butter chicken and rice. Do better bakersfield. I don’t want to waste my money on lunch or dinner. I can’t justify paying 14 dollars for a plate of rice and gravy. It’s not even a 6 oz serving of protein in this dish.
I literally went to panda express for some chicken breast so I could have a well balanced meal.

I’ve been here twice now and have loved everything I’ve gotten! I’ve tried the pani puri, chole puri, paneer tikka, and garlic naan. The paneer tikka and garlic naan are even better than my previous favorite restaurant. My partner says that this is much more like home cooked Indian food than most sit down restaurants, and his seal of approval is hard to get.
The owners/staff are very kind. I really love the atmosphere of the seating area around this whole good truck area.
Edit to add: 3 months later and I keep coming back and I love it every time! Sometimes they even have roti available. The chai and mago lassi are also to die for.

My friend and I stop to try some of this Indian food, we ordered samosas, they’re absolutely delicious, the servings are big, you need try Curry chicken Rice is absolutely delicious. For drinks try Mango lassi, the service is upstanding. They’re very attentive they give us some rasmalai is a dessert super good.

I have never really been into Indian food but SK has made me a believer. The food was good, at a good price with great service. The Butter Chicken with Rice and Goat Curry Rice combo was amazing with just the right amount of spice. We will definitely be back!!!!

The food is delicious! I am coming back again and again! I loved the food, the service, the people, and overall the atmosphere! Everyone was so kind, and the food came out fast, ready. I had tried the butter chicken and instantly feel in love. They have a variety of other choices in their menu and I love that! This place deserves all the love!

This is my first time reviewing my experience anywhere. The people who run the SK Indian Food truck are so kind and so lovely in person. You can tell they’re into what they do and it’s family owned. The food is just amazing! My family enjoyed their curry, samosas, mango lassis and more here and we’ll be sure to come back to support them. They deserve more love and I hope this review leads more people to go try it out, they have vegetarian options too ❤️

Literally some of the best food I’ve had in my life. The flavors are rich and delicious, but by no means overbearing. Their butter chicken is a favorite of my brother and myself. Their naan bread is a must. There’s was bit of a wait when we went, but it was well worth the wait once we got the food. Service is super friendly and sweet as well.

The food was delicious, it was spicy but in a perfect manner. I’d wanted seconds after I had ate (curry chicken rice). The Mango shake was also delicious! The staff were very kind, the customer service was amazing too. Definitely an amazing place to go and eat!
