It all began on January 27, 1958. With $50 in the cash register, Del and Helen Johnson opened “Sizzler Family Steak House” in in Culver City, California. This was the place where everyone could enjoy a great steak dinner at an affordable price. Today, we strive to serve the best hand-cut steaks at the most affordable price for the whole family with the addition of a broad, all-American menu and an abundance of fresh and healthy options. Sizzler is the restaurant where America comes to satisfy its appetite with U.S.D.A. The food here is consistent with all other Sozzlers. As long as you go in understanding what their product is, you should walk away happy. The current trio special is a fantastic deal. If you’re not sure what you want, it gives you a great sampler of everything.

Service was super friendly and attentive. Prompt service at our table. We saw the manager handling questions in person and seating people himself. I’d go back if I was in the area and wanting a good deal on a fill service meal.

You can get free salad bar by signing up for their club online in 2 min, and then show any evidence that you signed up and they will give it to you.

I got the top sirloin, medium rare, and the cut was absolutely excellent. I did not know Sizzler could make a steak like that!

I learned there is 10% off for college students.
Also, kids eat free Monday’s for a while

The service was so fast and good. Specifically,
Ed the manager took great care of us. Dave and Dallas, the other two managers, came out and met us the lady that took our order, Jazmine, was so helpful on what to get; she knew every question and was fast! Our server Hayley was sweet and attentive.

Atmosphere gets 4.5 stars as it is somewhat dated and worn, but it’s classic. It was clean and the salad bar was very presentable. I’m coming back for the top sirloin!

Update JUST for steak people: I went back for the top sirloin, and as I prefer cooked but soft steak, I asked for medium rare, slightly on the rare side” and it was perfect, as it “finishes” cooking when it is brought out. The top sirloin is plenty of meat when you add in all the other food and sides. Even though my fellow company likes high end cuts of steak, we’ve got hooked on the top sirloin, and it is their least expensive one. It can be very good steak and it’s the same quality as the more expensive larger cuts, and the staff verified this. You can however ask for “a soft and lean cut if they could” and find yourself with a killer steak. If it’s not to your liking, kindly let a manger know, and you will not ever be disappointed. Don’t be shy.

Our server Maddy was very helpful when we went in. They have lime rickeys that are excellent. I don’t like sugar overload much, and so I asked for light syrup and it came out most delightful.

one of my favorite restaurants ever. I typically get a ribeye steak plus lobster tail and shrimp skewers. The cooks do great and most of the time the medium rare steak is exactly that, medium rare. They also have a Salad bar and it’s super cheap to add onto a entrée I think only a few $. The staff is super friendly and very attentive and I always have a new drink waiting for me before I can finish the one i’m on. In my opinion Sizzler provides good food at a very fair price.

My wife and I ate at your restaurant this evening and it truly was one of the best meals we’ve had in a very long time! The steak was cooked perfectly, the shrimp was amazing, the Malibu chicken impeccable and even the cheese bread was better than ever! I eat at so many places that are good the first time you go and then progressively go downhill. Sizzler in Idaho Falls is exactly the opposite. Not only is it consistently good but seems to be getting better as of late. And to top it off, the servers go above and beyond to make sure everything is just right. Thank you!

Kaylee was our server and she was so good! She was attentive to our drinks and made sure everything with our meal was perfect. Very attentive and kind!! Also, kitchen manger Dallas was absolutely amazing! He recommended the best menu items for our dietary restrictions……was very knowledgeable! And the food was SO good! Steak was cooked perfectly. So juicy and flavorful! We will most definitely be back!

First time visiting Sizzler. Honestly, the food isn’t bad itself, but I’d just say the portion is not worth the price.

As I said, first time coming, I’m not sure how things work, but the cashier didn’t seem to care about helping us understand how things work and I feel pressured with ordering as soon as possible. I think it’s a courtesy to bring up that certain things are add ons and do not come with what I picked, but no, she didn’t do that. I ended up paying extra for stuff I thought comes in the set that I wouldn’t get if I knew I need to pay for.

Anyways, the fish and chips got out pretty quickly, and it tasted good. The fries were still crispy. However, the portion is really small for what it costs.

As for my lobster and steak, man, they are so small. Oh well, they tasted really good though! I got my steak well done because I don’t prefer uncooked food. I love the seasonings of the steak.

They gave us second cups of drinks (probably free refills) even though I haven’t even finished my first cup. I felt bad for wasting but I guessed I paid 3 bucks for each of them. (Not worth it)

Like I said, overall, the portion of food we got is really small. We didn’t leave with a full stomach, which is pretty disappointing for how much we paid.

I hadn’t been in years, but this was a splendid experience. The food was delicious, there were more lemonade choices than I could try in one visit (pomegranate was definitely the winner of the night), and our server (Melinda I think she said) was really on the ball. She had refills to us by the time our drinks were only half gone and regularly checked in on us. It was really busy, but service was fast. The manager was out visiting with customers and helping the staff. We’ll definitely have to go back again soon!

We haven’t been here in a few years. We had the salad bar. Our friends had steak and all you can eat shrimp and salad bar with loaded baked potato. The salad bar selections were great and everything looked fresh. Our server was very nice. We definitely enjoyed our meals.
