The Tandoori Chicken was served pretty quickly, but when we took a bite, it was cold in some places and warm in others quite odd. We mentioned it, and they reheated it to make it piping hot, but it still didn’t feel fresh. We ate half cos we were starving and left it as is.
The other dishes arrived soon after, and unfortunately, each one was a letdown. The chicken tikka gravy was the same- warm gravy and cold chicken !!!Everything tasted like it had just been microwaved rather than freshly prepared. On a thanksgiving long weekend – how unfortunate.
They did offer to bring us new tandoori chicken – but the damage was done. I wanted to just eat whatever and get out of there.
Maybe we’ve just had better food elsewhere, but overall everything felt below average in both freshness and flavor. Some people might still enjoy it – just didn’t work for us.
Best food in town is an understatement. This is probably the best dining experience we’ve had anywhere in the province. Portions are amazing. It’s our anniversary dinner and we’re taking home essentially two full meals in addition to what we ate. Flavours, textures, presentation and cook are all perfection.
I ordered veg noodles and got chciken, literally big peice staff was like “yeah sorry we have close counter of veg and nonveg “
If you are jain or vegetarian stay away!!
Lost my trust maybe they need good inspector for next checking for food health and safety
And there is flys on the glass seen in photo
Very unhygienic experience
Water taste bad aswell
The first time I walked into the space, the artwork looked amazing. The customer service by the waiter was also very welcoming.
I ordered the Paneer Butter Masala with Garlic Naan & Mango Lassi. Long story short, the food tasted amazing, and I will surely be back again on payday.
Pricing is expensive, so be prepared to spend $20-30. Also, the food presentation could be better.
That said, I will definitely return to try more items on the menu. This is a new restaurant, so that they will need community support.
Cheers
The restaurant looked beautiful. We ordered tea first—it was served with ginger and cardamom, and tasted amazing. Then we ordered butter chicken and chicken vindaloo—both were very delicious. After that, for dessert, we had gulab jamun and kheer. Honestly, it was such an enjoyable experience. Even though we were full, we didn’t feel like stopping.
I will definitely come back again soon with my whole family.
Thanks
The quality of the food has declined, you get smaller portions, prices have gone up, the chicken is now usually this gritty dark meat, and on a whole it’s just not the same experience anymore.
It’s still fairly good, but if you dine in it’s basically dead because of the location, most orders are take out or delivery orders.
