Unfortunately, our experience here fell well short of expectations. The meat was very fatty, and the server consistently overcooked every piece. The grills seemed to be set on high heat at every table, which resulted in the meat burning rather than cooking properly. There didn’t appear to be any real method or care in the cooking process.
The server also seemed rushed and disengaged. We were overcharged for drinks, and when we brought it to the server’s attention, he was unapologetic and dismissive, simply saying, “It’s just a drink,” showing no concern for the issue.
We visited before peak hours, yet several menu items were already unavailable. These items were part of our meal, and no substitutions were offered, which was frustrating. The bathrooms also needed attention and cleaning.
Most concerning was that the meat had a gas or chemical-like taste, which raised serious quality control concerns. Overall, there seemed to be a lack of attention to detail, care, and consistency. Based on the high Google reviews, we expected much better service and food quality, but neither lived up to the hype.
On a positive note, the dessert was interesting and enjoyable. The silverware and plates were nice, and having water already at the table was appreciated.
Parking is also a major issue at this location it’s chaotic, small, and it’s unclear where customers are expected to park.
Overall, this place was a letdown. I wouldn’t recommend wasting your time here.
In addition to their consistently solid menu, I especially enjoyed the beef short rib soup and the kimchi stew. Both were flavorful and comforting on their own, and even pairing elements of the two made for an excellent combination.
We’ve also never had a server that wasn’t fun and goes above and beyond here, the hospitality is 2nd to none.
The delicious amalgamation of different cuts of seasoned meats and taste bud splitting Banchan is literally an adventure for your neophile taste buds.

But the most important factor whether you will visit the restaurant again would be ‘The Quality of the Meat’. It was so disappointing.
If the owner of the restaurant reads this review, plz check it out with the kitchen staff.
Once the server brought the meat plates, it seems already more than half of the meat was FAT. After cooking, I looked at the pork belly which was nearly 2/3 was fat. Especially, my favorite marinated pork was worse. Couldn’t chew properly it was so strong. Kimchi jjigae & egg Jjim were pretty okay though.
The meat itself is very reasonable price in the United States in my opinion compared to any other countries. I didn’t understand why they’re receiving so Low Quality meats from the vender.
The experience it itself was great.
The issue is (as shown in the pictures the beer price is very misleading.
I don’t mind paying $12 for 16oz (if I know I’m doing it), however, when the menu clearly states 21oz for $12, and you are brought a 16oz – its a bit insulting. Quite frankly, it is thievery….
I stated the problem to the staff, expecting them to make it right, but they said they would let the manager know – as still brought me a check with my beer at full price.
Hopefully you guys fix this in future. If you do – I’ll update my review accordingly.
