We are visit from Toronto and decided to give this place a try on our last night in California. I got the lobster tail and my partner got the prime steak. His steak was not cooked correctly, and my lobster was definitely frozen. For the price and reviews we expected the food to be much better. The “fresh” veggies were also definitely frozen and we not good at all. The garlic mash was cold and must have been prepared much earlier in the day. Overall, when we were left with the $120 bill, we felt like the meal was worth no more than $45. Do not expect anything better from this place, I would not even consider it a steak house. Would not recommend, waste of money.

We made reservations for 6 pm tonight. They were ready as soon as we walked in the door. I ordered the filet migion. It was cooked to perfection! The serving staff were very pleasant. The Restaurant in a Whole was Brilliant. We will be back on our next trip out West. Thank you

The staff was friendly and overall nice restaurant. The wait for the food and dessert was a bit long and the restaurant was not overly booked. Creme Brulee is my favorite dessert and this one had too much vanilla extract that made it bitter. It took a while for them to bring it out. It was warm throughout so I wasn’t sure if they just made and tried to flash chill it. Another thing I notice is no vanilla bits in it like from fresh vanilla bean which I’m use to. The chicken meal was huge and I think the steak was ok, unfortunately, not too memorable. But I didn enjoy my evening.

First time eating here, staff was very friendly, service was great, and the food was wonderful! They went out of their way to help us celebrate my father’s birthday and made it a very special night for all of us. Steaks were cooked perfectly and so flavorful, and all the sides were delicious! We’ll definitely be back!

Sixteen Mile is an absolute must for anyone in the Bay Area, especially if visiting for a short time. This was one of the best restaurant experiences I’ve ever had. The incredibly kind, caring, and attentive staff went above and beyond. Had the Signature Prime Steak, and it was incredible — no doubt one of the best steaks I’ve had in my lifetime (probably my #1), a perfect cut cooked to absolute perfection. The entire group raved about their food. I will definitely return next time I find myself in the area, and will no doubt recommend them to others.

It was wonderful and very enjoyable dining experience. My hubby and I shared the king prime rib, it was done right. We had mashed and fries as sides. Something simple as Caesar salad was very tasty, really liked that tangy taste. We also had their fried prawns with tartar sauce. The restaurant also served in house made sourdough bread which was great and it was served warm. With all these food, we were glad we shared the entree. Service was excellent, our server always checked on us and refill our water. We will be back.

Wow!! What a hidden gem. From the outside, the place looks like a realtor office, but I was pleasantly surprised by the inside. First, u encounter a nice size cozy bar. There are 2 dining areas. One is for private parties and the other looks tiny at first, but curves and goes toward the back. The place is nicely decorated with booths and tables. However, I am a foodie and care more about how things taste. I ordered the daily early bird (5-7pm) petite cut prime rib special for $29. It comes with 2 side dishes. For a petite cut, I couldn’t complain about the portion. . It was bigger than most places and tender and tasty. I ordered a baked potato and grilled al dente veggies. Everything was wonderful!! Plus, the complimentary sourdough bread was served warm with a small dish of butter. We ate so much bread. We couldn’t stop… It was so good… Nicole our server for the night was very warm and friendly. She was really patient when we asked questions about the food and menu. Both the lobster bisque and miso glazed salmon was delicious as well. I would definitely go back again and again.

Good food. Good portions. You get what you pay for. The service is pretty good as well. I got the regular filet mignon (55) it also comes with two sides. I got the garlic mashed potatoes and the steak fries. When we got there there was sourdough bread. One small thing that I wished would be better was the steak fries, I felt that they were a bit on the dry side but it wasn’t that bad either. The decor inside has a good style to it and the outside also looks great a well.
