Stopped by Six Peaks Grille for a light meal and had a mixed experience here. The restaurant is beautiful, the service was excellent, but one of the dishes didn’t agree with my palate. To be fair though this is a steakhouse and I didn’t have the steak which i would definitely try the next time if I visit here again.

Great fine dining restaurant with incredible views of the mountains, we were there in the summer time for beautiful sunsets. The mocktails were amazing to start. The vegetable of the day was spectacular!! The combination of sweet and spicy was perfect. Hamachi was fresh and tons of flavor —loved!! But wow the filet mignon with a bone marrow crust truly was incredibly delicious. Must order that with the chimichurri sauce too. Lobster tail had great flavor but a little over cooked. Dessert was phenomenal too, the lava cake filled with warm berries and toasted marshmallow with ice cream— yes please! Definitely recommend 10/10

My husband and I both agree that the scallops dish we had here was by far the best we have ever had. Absolutely incredible. Our server Luis was wonderful – friendly and happy to answer any questions we had about the meal (including interrogating the chef for us on their technique for cooking the mushrooms).

Worst service and food ever considering the price! Steak sold for $150 but messed up between medium rare and medium well. Poured out wine on the table but no apology. Serving food with deadly face like if she just broke up.

Some nice gems on the wine list. Indoor is classy but comfortable. Outside is stunning, wrapped by the skyline of Olympic Valley. The Chef Chris Watkins is really, really talented. Hands down the best meal we have had in the Tahoe/Truckee basin. If you have not dined her you are missing out.

Super nice and friendly staff and very delicious food. Our server’s name was Jeff and he was amazing. This restaurant has an outdoor area as well with a cute little fireplace. We ordered some appetizers and sides in addition to our main dishes. Their lobster mac and cheese and their mushroom plate were super delicious. My rib-eye steak was amazingly delicious! They also gave me a small delicious cake for my birthday.

I would say I am split as far as the review goes. The customer service was absolutely stellar. I loved every person that worked there. They were so nice to us and helpful. The food was good. It was my first time trying a steak medium well ( I know I know ) at the service recommendation which I appreciate and I enjoyed it. My problem was the steak was extremely extremely salty almost to the point where I’m knocking the salt off with a fork and I feel like that truly took away from the experience of actually enjoying the steak which had good texture and was cooked well. The macaroni and cheese I probably would not suggest. It is much larger than you think it is and is definitely meant as something to share with the table and not for one person to have alone as well The macaroni and cheese was quite bland. I don’t see myself getting it again. My wife enjoyed her food and sadly the desert itself was absolutely just dry but to be honest, unfortunately it was nothing that really knocked our socks off. This restaurant felt like a top tier experience but our food honestly just didn’t stand up to that quality and maybe it was just an off day maybe if I was to come back to lake Tahoe I would consider giving them another shot. I’m sure on another day they would probably rock our world

Really enjoyed Six Peaks! Stellar service with Luis (IIRC), he was super attentive and never left us needing for anything. Food was 5 star across the board – caesar salad with tasty dressing, we both got the 8oz filet mignon cooked perfectly, and the fingerling potatoes and balsamic brussels sprouts – all fantastic! We brought our own wine and corkage was in line with standard pricing. Overall a wonderful meal and setting and would come back for sure! Beautiful hotel and property as well. Piano man playing the whole time was a really fine touch.

We reserved Six Peaks Grille for our anniversary dinner and I would say everything was perfect. For drinks we had KT22 and Emigrant Peak. Since they knew it was our wedding anniversary we were served a couple of complimentary champagne as well. For starter we had Little Gem Salad Lettuces and Skillet Bread with butter. For the main course we had 14 Oz. Grilled Niman Ranch Rib Eye with a side of Four Cheese Mac & Cheese. My wife got Oven Roasted Mary’s Chicken with a side of Truffle Fries. For desert we shared a Rhubarb Crumble with a couple of Cappuccino coffees. Now it’s time to appreciate the staff who were very attentive, friendly provided a top notch service. Michelle made sure we get a table by the window, she checked a few times to make sure were well taken care of and everything was to our preferences. Our server was Sophia she was very nice, friendly, attentive and always smiled. Karen the bartender not only she made the best drinks she even came out to take our pictures in the outdoor seating area as were waiting for our food.
