BiangBiang noodles are a specialty from Xi’an, known as the noodle capital of China. They are named after the BiangBiang sound made when the hand-pulled noodles slap against the work surface during preparation. However, these two characters do not exist in traditional Chinese writing, so people created a unique character to represent it BiangBiang noodles are made entirely by hand, and one of their most notable characteristics is their thickness, resembling a belt. Each noodle is unique, with varying thicknesses. Please take a moment to enjoy this one-of-a-kind culinary experience.

If you’re a noodle lover, this spot is the place to be! Loved their hand-pulled (Biang Biang) noodles, which had the perfect balance of chewy and smooth texture. Every dish they served was bold and delicious.

The server was so nice and helpful in explaining the dishes, as this was my first time visiting. They also have great prices- all the food that our group shared was $100.

Six Alley absolutely deserves a 5-star shoutout—the noodles are incredibly delicious, and this spot is a must-visit for anyone who loves a good bowl. Alley is my new go-to noodle spot! The hand-pulled noodles are so fresh, bouncy, and perfectly chewy, and every bowl is full of rich, comforting flavor. The sauces are well-balanced, not too salty, and you can really taste the quality in each ingredient. The portions are generous and the prices are reasonable for how good the food is. The restaurant itself is small but clean and cozy, with a relaxed, casual vibe that makes it great for a quick lunch or a low-key dinner. Service is friendly and efficient—food comes out hot and fast, and the staff is happy to explain the menu or help with spice levels. If you’re craving seriously good noodles, Six Alley is a must; the noodles are beyond delish and this place is an easy 5 stars

This is a Chinese restaurant famous for their biang biang noodles. The food was tasty and unique. The customer service was nice.

You can choose the spiciness level here. The levels can be 0-3 or 1-3 since some of the spiciness is part of the flavors cooked into each dish. I would get at least level 1 spicy. The extra kick really enhances the food. You can get chili oil sauce on the side also.

* Oil-Poured Noodle with Braised Beef Rib 5/5 – Very flavorful dish with a complexity to the taste, savory with a light sweetness and citrus subtlety. It came with 2 ribs that had a good amount of meat. The rib meat was very tender and fell off the bone easily. The minimum level 1 spiciness was perfect.

* Mahu Beef Noodles 4.5/5 – This dish was very flavorful. The beef was tender and well marinated.

Very yummy food. We got the three chef’s recommendations and some dumplings. Quite delicious – loved the texture of the noodles. Spice levels were fair and realistic.

Really good place for noodles, with a lunch special available before 2pm. Recommend the biang biang noodles with the giant spicy beef rib. Parking is easy as well.

This restaurant is cozy and stylish, with clean wooden furniture and a calm, modern vibe. Their rì jiā mó is absolutely delicious — crispy outside, tender inside, and full of rich flavor. A perfect place for a relaxed meal and authentic taste!

I’ve had all 3 of the chef recommendations and my favorite is definitely the 3-in-1, though you can’t go wrong with any of them if you love noodles, garlic, and spicy food. There’s plenty of parking and service is pretty quick. There is a wait during peak hours but it’s worth a try. The only complaint I have is that the serving size is too small.

Fresh noodles and so good that I want to comeback if ever I’m in the area. I ordered the beef noodle with the big beef bone and then the combo bowl with 3 different noodles. Both were so good and would be a hard choice to pick just one. The beef bone was so tender, I only wish I was closer to home to take the bone to my dog but I’m 4 hours from home. I certainly cleaned that bone though. Then the combo bowl was a chance to try different kinds of noodles and each one was different, but all were so very good. I would recommend this place. I hope to back soon.

The hand-pulled noodles were amazing—chewy, flavorful, and perfectly coated in a spicy, savory sauce. The beef and tripe were super tender and added great texture. We also got the seaweed salad, which was super refreshing with a nice kick and topped with fresh cilantro—so simple but so good. Service was quick, portions were generous, and the whole place had a fun, casual vibe. Definitely coming back!
