Amazing meals with friendly and efficient service.
The location has plenty of parking while the interior has a welcoming ambience. The menu has a variety of options for all tastes.
Would certainly recommend.

We got the samosa plate and onion bhaji for appetizers. They were both delicious, with the samosas having a wonderful chickpea sauce overtop. We had two orders of butter chicken which was so much we could have shared one, along with a double order of garlic naan which was amazing. The food was all homemade and you could to tell. The staff was very be friendly and the restaurant had a cozy atmosphere to it. I would definitely recommend eating here!

During my visit to Sarnia, I had dinner at this lovely restaurant. The Christmas decorations were stunning, perfectly capturing the festive spirit. The server was friendly and attentive, providing excellent service. The food was outstanding – I enjoyed the Goan Fish Curry with steamed rice and tawa rotis, which was nicely prepared and full of flavor. Highly recommend this spot for a delicious meal in Sarnia!

Excellent Indian cuisine at Sarnia.
We stayed at Sarnia this weekend for 2 days and we had our dinner at Sitara both these nights. Food was very good in terms of taste and quantity. First night, we ordered goat biriyani (5/5), shikh kabab (4.5/5), daal makhni (5/5), and garlic naan.
Second night, we ordered chana batoora (4.5/5), daal makhani (5/5), butter chicken (4/5, too sweet for me, but my family liked it), dahi bara (4.5/5), tandoor roti, and garlic naan. We went for chai on Sunday morning. Chai is excellent! The place was full of local people and tourists for breakfast and brunch, who come regularly here.
The service was amazing, both night we were served by Harpreet (if I am not mistaken with the name). She was very warm and ensured if everything was okay.
The atmosphere is warm and cozy with beautiful interior.

I recently tried the food at this restaurant, and it was absolutely amazing. The taste was so good and fresh, just like homemade food. Every dish was full of flavor and cooked perfectly. It really gave me a “home away from home” feeling.
The quality of the ingredients and the care in preparation truly stand out. The staff was also friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better.
I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious, homestyle food. I will definitely visit again!

A perfect evening snack setup! The crispy fried fish pieces were golden, crunchy on the outside and soft inside, paired perfectly with fresh green mint chutney that added a refreshing kick. Every bite had a great balance of spice and flavor.

Please make the owner to read this review very seriously;

Not sure how they got 4.5 rating. Visited 30 min back and was really disappointed by the overall experience. The ginger tea was poorly made – weak and lacked any real flavour. But what really stood out was the rude behaviour of the owner. Instead of addressing concerns politely, their attitude was dismissive and unprofessional.

The only positive was the server, Raman. She was courteous, attentive, and tried her best to make us feel welcome despite the rest of the experience.

Wouldn’t recommend unless there’s a serious change in how customers are treated.

It’s not the best butter chicken, but it’s good. There’s a lot of REALLY great items on the menu. They plan the spice/heat levels for a white clientele. It’s not always been easy to communicate that we like spicy food. They want to give us the white person version and it’s good, but we like the fire.

Had the Buttered chicken eggs benedict and my wife had the spinach cheese omelet. Both very good. I especially enjoyed the Buttered chicken Eggs benedict as it was quite different from what I would normally have for breakfast. Waitresses were friendly and prompt ( Ramen ? ) and so was host.

I would like to compliment the service and the food at Sitara. Without a doubt, it is the best restaurant in the region when it comes to authentic Indian flavors.
For those who, like me, do not enjoy very spicy food, they offer excellent mild options, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. I highly recommend the traditional Chicken Biryani, and the samosas are a must — absolutely delicious.
Congratulations to the team for such a great dining experience!
