We had so much fun at Sitar Indian Cuisine. We were a group of 6 friends and ordered plenty of food to share. Everything was flavorful and full of spice. I especially enjoyed the House Specialty as a way to try several Indian dishes (Chicken Tandoori, Lamb Rohan Josh, Vegetable Korma, Papadum, Rice, Naan Bread and Soup). The wait staff was very friendly, and the prices were fair. The atmosphere was warm and comfortable. We suggest sitting down and ordering off the menu rather than the buffet. Overall, we had a blast at Sitar sharing stories and dining on spicy Indian cuisine!

We decided to be non traditional and have Thanksgiving lunch here and it was wonderful, as always!!! The buffet was extremely clean and the food was fresh and hot. The service was top notch as well. We even ordered off the menu for take out later that evening!!! Hands down, the best Indian food in Knoxville and has been for decades!!! I highly recommend this restaurant!!!

I had an amazing time at this Indian restaurant! The place felt really nice, and the food was super yummy. They had lots of different dishes that tasted like real Indian flavors. By far the best Indian food I’ve ever eaten outside of Los Angeles. Moving to the south has been hard to find authentic food in any type but I ordered here today and I have never been so happy. The portions are huge, the naan is chewy and light, the samosas are to die for. I have no complaints at all except I wish I could have ate it all but I have another 2 meals for the week. Definitely will be ordering again.

The food is so delicious here! This restaurant has such a special place in my heart. My whole family has been eating here since before my younger sibling was born.
