I’m from Lansing so I was looking for something quick and good The food was very fresh but the taste wasn’t very good no seasoning on the chicken the greens was real vinegary lol and the Mac was good but the noodles was very mushy over all I give the food 3 out of 10

I made a last minute order today from Sisters Soul Food on the recommendation of my brother. I’m glad I took his advice. I ordered fried pork chops, greens, macaroni, and peach cobbler for dessert. Best pork chops I’ve had in a while…. the dinner was delicious. I’m inviting everyone to take a chance like I did and be impressed like I was! I stopped in here to get a side of yams to go with my dinner because hey I figured this place might be worth a try. And thought they should at least have some good yams. So order some yams, tried some fish because again I figured you cant mess up to bad with fish and I tried the deviled eggs. But I was so wrong. Everything I ordered was a 2 out 10, The fish was over cooked and had no seasoning, the deviled eggs, eggs was also overcooked the filling was eehh. And the yams wasn’t good at all, it was barely any chunks because they too were overcooked with too much sugar and lemon flavoring that was overbearing. I will give a place a chance and if it’s good I will return but in this case I will not, The customer service was typical.

Small black owned spot. They were very friendly. I ordered chicken and broccoli Alfredo. I thought $6 was a bit much just to add broccoli. However the portion size is huge! I will be going back to try other meals, especially the 7up cake.

The portions of the sides for $21 + is too small!! I ordered the Turkey dinner..that includes a whole turkey wing..dressing (too sweet) greens one scoop!! No cranberry sauce..no gravy for the dressing!! The only good part was the triple chocolate cake. I’ll keep going where I’ve been going

I was down the street picking up a car I bought on eBay When I saw the Sisters Soul Food Sign. We popped in and Im glad we did the fish and chicken were worth the wait and they suggested the peach cobbler they just added to the menu. I almost turned around on my way back to Ohio just to have some more to take back for a midnight snack. Would gladly return & highly recommend #SistersSoulFood

We have eaten here 4 times I believe. The food is consistently good. Taste like real soul food cooked by someone’s grandmother. It’s a newer restaurant and they may have some kinks, but it is well worth visiting while they work it out.

Pork chops are good but Mac n cheese wasn’t tasty and green beans tasted like they were straight out of the can. But the staff is very friendly and they are fairly new so hopefully I just went on an “off” day.
