Food was awesome. Soul rolls were delicious. Fried shrimp and chicken were both excellent. Every side was delicious. Service was very good. Not a bad thing to say about this place except you may have to wait in line.

I walked in and the food caught my eyes first. The macaroni looked dry and that made me nervous because it’s an important factor in soul food for me. I questioned the fried chicken and waited the 15 minutes to receive it fresh.

Disappointed.. front server was friendly with “people” in front of us (hint)but not friendly with my wife, hmmm. No southern hospitality here, plenty of grumpy attitude if you get my drift. . The whole energy ruined the experience. We drove out of our way , we saw it on Fieri show. Food was 2.5 out 5 and that’s being generous, nothing special and highly overpriced and overrated.

Steak and gravy, smother pork chops, and kids baked chicken dishes were all satisfying. I tried each side and my favorite were the greens and Loma beans. Though the Mac and cheese didn’t appear super cheesy, it was seasoned well and quite satisfying. We washed everything down with lemonade, tea and some good Ole banana pudding. Truly enjoyed my visit.

We came in on a whim and got some really good food. I had my doubts about the peach cobbler from the appearance, but my friend vouched for it with 2 thumbs up! The Key Lime Cake alone is worth the trip to Savannah, and don’t sleep on the Banana Pudding Cake. Seating is adequate.

5 Stars!! Ended up here on accident. Best accident ever! This place is on point!!! There’s a KFC across the street and I can’t figure out why anyone would set foot in it with this place being here. They will be featured on Diners, Dive ins, and Dives on the 28th.

Did pickup order food wasn’t ready had to wait 20 minutes to get it. I ordered the family meal that comes with a gallon tea I ask for it and get told they don’t have gallons to put it in. So I get nothing in place of it not even a cup of tea! The food is amazing me and my kids really enjoyed it and will definitely be back in the future!!

My husband pick this restaurant because it had good reviews. We drove from Hilton Head,SC to try out this place. The chicken was okay, cabbage was sweet, lemonade taste like sugar water, mac/cheese was okay. Didn’t have any cornbread or sweet potatoes which I had a taste for. The soda machine wasn’t working.
