A nice small town restaurant with friendly service and food that will satisfy your hunger. I had a good old- fashion BLT, French fries with a garlic pepper topping that made the fries special. The decor is vintage and themed for the town and canal. Would like to have seen some descriptions that explained some of the pictures and plates on display. It’s like stepping back in time and that is what makes it special, not like the ultra modern remake that so many places do. Would go again and recommend giving them a try.

Perfect little diner. We don’t make it out for breakfast much anymore but this was walking distance from our Airbnb. Very cute little town and very walkable. Exact greasy breakfast we were looking for. Staff was extremely friendly and attentive.

Stopped for breakfast today. Food and service are very good. We took our seats and were immediately met by the hostess who took our drink order. Our server soon appeared, and I ordered the chicken fried steak and my wife, the Kookie. This is basically eggs, meat, toast, and hash browns. The food came out of the kitchen quickly. My steak serving was quite large. It was also served with eggs and hash browns and toast. The steak was seasoned well and went great with the gravy. The gravy was tasty and not pasty. Hash browns are how I like them, a bit crispy and not mushy. There are no exotic breakfast dishes, but the food is hearty and flavorful. We sat at a booth. The booth has seen better days and was in need of new upholstery, but that did not distract from the meal. The restaurant sits right alongside the Ohio and Erie canal and you can overlook the park. Service was excellent.

We come in for breakfast monthly and the service is great. Easy menu to pick from. Good price value. Tired of spending $3 or more for coffee, stop in for pleasant surprise. The restaurant is a wholesome place and nothing fancy, just good folks serving us.

This place is my absolute favorite. Every time we are in town for country fest we eat here everyday. We even make the trip to eat here when country fest is over. The service is amazing, food is always hot and absolutely delicious. A true gem.

Scrumptious breakfast, great selection of items for a good price. Waitresses are great, especially JoHanna (extremely professional and easy to talk with) ! Strongly recommend this place – Has a great view of the canal and overall has a good ol’ country home cooking vibe to it.

Excellent food. Prices for the food are beyond reasonable for the amount of food received. My girlfriend ordered the Hooky because it was “small” and it was more than she could eat.
Waitresses are very friendly and efficient. They help each other more than what I see in other businesses.
One thing I enjoyed more than anything was to be able to have a conversation without having to yell. They do not play music so loud you can not hear the person across from you.
I will definitely be returning in the future.

Great food, fast service with the friendliest servers! This is the only restaurant I have ever been to where a 3 egg omlette actually looks like it was made with 3 eggs. Also highly recommend the mixed berry pancakes. My husband and I love breakfast and this is certainly somewhere we will be returning to!

I absolutely loved this place. It had great charm and the waitress answered any questions we had about the area as well as the resturant. The food here was over the top amazing. I had the reben deluxe and left completely full after only half and the fresh fries were to die for.
