I had the chicken , Mac and cheese , and collard greens . The food was fantastic, everything was flavorful and tasted just like home style southern food . I will be back ! The server was friendly , gave a generous portion , I really cannot complain . Great job

If you’re looking for home style food, this is joint. Large selection of entrées and side’s. My Smothered Pork Chop was thick and delicious (not a thin Chop like most places). Mac and cheese was fantastic. I’ll be back.

OMG! This food was so delicious! I am so happy about how good the food was we will definitely be back! We got the ribs Mac and cheese and yams! So good it was amazing! We also got the smothered chicken cabbage and green beans just so good! Everything was well seasoned and tasty I can’t wait to go back also the pound cake was great too! Growing up in the south, I’m used to good real soul food. This is an attempt at it, but does not quite deliver. The chicken is quite good if you get it hot and fresh at lunch. The yams are …bland. There is no cinnamon, nutmeg, spices , so it’s just a yam and sugar. The macaroni and cheese has sugar in it so that’s just NOT ACCEPTABLE ! Overall

Today was my first time eating from there. My husband got oxtails, mac-n-cheese, and cabbage and I got the same sides with ribs.. our food was great and like he told the staff “if it’s good my wife will be back” and indeed I will… food was superb!!!!! Staff members friendly and ready to help!!!

Recently, three of my golfing partners and I ordered dinners there. It was close to closing time, but the owner prepared fresh chicken and pork chops for us. She was very friendly, the food was very flavorful, and the portions were large! She knows what she’s doing! We’re from Charlotte and the Triad areas. No doubt we’ll be eating there on our next trip! Sorry. This is for the Waltons Way location.

My family loved this food!!! This was a great alternative to not cooking and still having something like a home cooked meal. Will definitely go here again so tired of the chain restaurants and eating the same things. I’m glad we found this place and I can’t wait to tell all my friends and family about it. Mac and cheese was my favorite but it was all GREAT! Very reasonable prices my son (15) ate it all in on sitting but took my daughter (5) and I two days.

Last week July 14th, I made a purchase. One of the items I purchased was not placed in my bag (although I was told everything was in my bag). I called the restaurant numerous times…no answer. I made a foursquare review/comment via my digital receipt with the complaint and stated I wanted the $3.99 plus tax for a piece of cake I didnt receive, refunded back to my card. Someone replied, “ok.” Its the 20th, no refund for that amount. So now, I’ll just dispute it with my financial institution and no longer patronize your business. The communication is terrible.
