The music is good. Service was a bit slow and it is a very small place. Restroom was decent but there was only 1 per male and female. There was a long waiting line for the restroom. It’s an ok place.

This truly is a hidden gem, way ahead of its time! The bar environment is cozy and eclectic. The bartenders were warm and friendly with great drink recommendations. And if you like astrology like they do, you will have a blast with these Tauruses! They pour a mean old fashioned, beautifully adorned with the classic brandied cherry. The martinis are potent, delicious and elegantly served.
The music and videos on the screens with upbeat, classic club hits kept you attentive and reminiscent of when times were simpler as you unwind with each endearing sip of your carefully crafted cocktail.
I will certainly be back again and again with friends and family any time I’m in Harlingen. This place is truly an oasis!

I am here visiting out of town. Absolutely terrible experience at this bar. The owner and their wannabe “rent-a-cop” bouncer decided to kick me and my best friend out the second we ordered a drink, even though there were still about 10 other people inside actively drinking. If there’s a 2 AM cutoff, why were they still allowed to stay? Even worse, Officer Medina showed up and was completely useless—apparently, the rules don’t apply to certain people. It’s straight-up illegal to serve alcohol past cutoff, but I guess that’s fine if you’re a regular. Terrible management, unfair treatment, and clearly some shady business going on here!!!!!

Second time here and all was good till I got my bill, gratuity (18%) was automatically added as well as a $5.00 fee for using credit card. It was just me and my girlfriend so why in the world would you automatically add gratuity?? I was going to leave tip anyway (cash) but gratuity is optional and up to the customer on how much! My bill quickly grew by an additional $24 dollars with all the added fees! SMH ♂️ We paid, didn’t say a word and left with both of us feeling like we got taken advantage of!

I visited Sir’s martini on 8/8/2025 and my tab was just over $100. Without notice, an 18% gratuity was automatically added. The waitress never mentioned this, and when I asked the bar manager, they said there were signs posted. I walked around to find them and saw that the signs were largely covered by bar equipment or wall décor, making them unreadable. On top of this, a drink I sent back for poor taste was still on the bill. When I asked for it to be removed, the bartender refused. I don’t mind tipping generously, but I do expect transparency and the ability to make an informed choice. Hidden or obscured notices and refusal to address customer concerns make for a disappointing experience. I have visited this location multiple times and have never had the experience I had tonight. While legally allowed to add service charges, bars must usually disclose this policy upfront, often on the menu or verbally informed to customers before they order. I as a customer have the Right to Refuse if I can demonstrate that the policy wasn’t adequately disclosed, the service was poor, or the restaurant misrepresented the mandatory nature of the charge. There was a class reunion being held at the establishment which may have been the reason why the managers were less than willing to accommodate my request. I am very sad to say that I will no longer visit Sir’s. Wait staff needs to be better trained on transparency and the so called “signage” about a 18% fee needs to be more clear than by the restroom and behind the bar taps where customers cannot visibly see the verbiage. Extremely poor customer service coming from a manager’s point of view. What was most frustrating is that the tab was $104 before taxes. They refused to remove a $9 drink that wasn’t even consumed because had they done so, they wouldn’t have been able to charge that extra 18%. To add fuel to the fire, I witnessed the waitress put my drink to the side after sending it back and the female manager claimed that the drink was hers (a mocktail) that sat in the same spot the whole duration of my visit. I am 100% positive that I saw the waitress place my drink on the side bar and the manager was trying to play it off like it was hers to avoid confrontation. The drink that I didn’t not like was not thrown out. They are trying to take advantage of customers given the fact that alcohol is involved. We included a 20% tip even before realizing that the 18% was already charged. This is an ineffectual effort to capitalize on consumers.

The martini I had was great! There was no food available or phone number to confirm if kitchen or if place was open or not. We arrived and were told kitchen had been unavailable for days. Normally we wouldn’t care but we had been at work all day and wanted at least an appetizer with our drinks. Atmosphere was okay, we sat outside and waitress was friendly after a few moments…initially she was very serious ♀️ overall it was alright I don’t think I will be going back any time soon.

The feeling you get as you walk into this place is home. The ecletic decor gives your eye’s something to look at in every corner. The friendly, very accommodating staff are quick and cleanly. Ihigy recommendtbis place to anyone.

First time visit. Very well maintained establishment. Staff was very pleasant, attentive and welcoming. They even changed the tv for us to watch the Dodgers Padres game. Visited with wife and couple of friends of ours who enjoyed the spot as well. We had a few drinks and spent most of our time in what appeared to be the chill side. There was another area (part of the same establishment) connected by a door that had a little more lively crowd and a very nice outdoor patio. Definitely be back

Martinis, need i say more! One of a kind spot honestly you wont find this type of vibe anywhere else. Is it the off the wall decor or the twist in seating arrangments. What ever it is its working for them, every visit is pleasant as its acompannied by great service and COLD SAVORY MARTINIS apple is my go to but they do serve a big variety of drinks. Its a must try if your in town. the crowd varies from young curios minds to the more mature side of the house. Great for a date night
