Pad See Ewe has that classic flavor and a good amount of fried tofu. Noodles were cooked just right and very yummy. A little more broccoli would have been nice. It was lukewarm on arrival – a bit surprised.
Panang Curry has a wonderful nutty flavor with some kick. There were generous amounts of tofu which is rare. Nice and hot on arrival.
Jasmine rice was a little overcooked but paired nicely with the curry. Thai tea was perfect and hit the spot.
Next time I’m in the area, I’ll eat at the restaurant to compare but otherwise it’s great comfort food for the coastal community.
I ordered the Laker Love sushi roll while I waited for my to-go order. It tastes fresh and really good.
My to-go order Pad See Ew with beef was okay. They don’t use Chinese broccoli which was a little disappointing. I feel like it was lacking flavor but I cannot pinpoint what was missing.
It did not disappoint large scallops, large green lip muscles, calamari and fish and schrimp. If you ask for spicy, it will not you will need to ask for the chili on the side. The food is fantastic. All that I’ve tried, however
The waitress likes to leave before you can tell them you want more of something.
I had the Panang curry with beef and the the ground pork with eggplant. The flavors were authentic and not too spicy for me. I’m sure you can get it spicier so no worries there.
Service was excellent as well. Highly recommend!
I tried the Pad See Ew and a specialty roll called the San Pedro Sunrise. Both dishes were fresh and full of flavor. The noodles were cooked perfectly and had a nice balance of sweetness and savory sauce, while the sushi roll had just the right amount of spice. You can also choose your spice level for the Thai dishes, which is a nice touch.
