At first it was a great find. I thought wow a server with a smile telling me to come on inside and give it a try they make all food to order ect. So I walk in the gentleman server told the other server/host sitting at the host stand to please seat me. I was excited to enjoy some good food. She looked at me twice sitting in her chair with her legs up knees resting on the stand she was a brunette and it was about 12 in the afternoon so it wasn’t busy. She looked away and the server said again to her can you please seat her she rudely said well I didn’t know if she was eating or not. Now mind you I said I was eating there the nice server tall skinny guy said I was eating please seat me and she rolled her eyes handed me a menu and said seat yourself. Well now I feel uncomfortable so I guess it’s not a great place I don’t want to bother someone to do their job so I very nicely said excuse me I have to call to answer and left. So the food could be great the service could be Awesome but I left because of the rudeness attitude of the hostess. I did find a couple Gems in this town and most people were so sweet great place to visit

The entire atmosphere was perfect! The live band was engaging but not overly so. Thanks to The Big Bad! The range of music was impressive as well. The hostess took our temperature upon arrival, which is to be expected. The waiter was friendly and informative without being the center of attention. The food is very pricey but it was also flavorful and fresh as well as cooked perfectly to order. Not a large menu variety though. Our drinks were kept up with in a timely manner and our dirty dishes never lingered. My husband was a little put off by the Brandy he ordered not being the proper glass that lets it breath but it was easily corrected. My only complaint was when the band was ending their time on stage, a group of already inebriated older folks came in. They gave the place a more club or bar type feeling with all their hooting and hollering. The dancing they did was disturbing and raunchy. It ruined the flavor of an otherwise tasteful evening.

Beautiful club. I only gave it 2 stars because the service was terrible. I asked the owner 2 times about getting service and she said that they were short on help at that time. (that I understand…owned a bar for 20 yrs.) We sat and listened to a lovely lady that entertained for 4 songs. She took a well deserved break. Still, no drinks. Finally, approached the owner and asked for a waiter while she returned to socialize with the customers. After about 10 minutes of waiting longer, we were finally served. We should have left but the lady entertaining was nice. As I left the bar, I spoke to the owner and I said “I owned a bar for 20 years and if I had customers waiting as long as we did, I would have gotten behind that bar and produced some cocktails. That’s my reason for the 2 star.

I am writing this as three stars but not because of the food. I think there are much better places to eat food was terrible. But the ambiance is amazing.. the place has so many romantic features.. they were just starting to have entertainment there, very elegant woman singing..voice was beautiful.. the restaurant is name correctly “Sips” and would be a very intimate place to go.. to have conversation, drinks and just chill.. very relaxing atmosphere.. I loved it.. I would be back for that! Wait staff both on the bar side and in the lounge we’re very articulate, experienced, super friendly to meet your needs..

I’ve been to Sip twice. Once with my husband with super food and service. Then for my Birthday with my family. There were 16 in the party. The food was great, service a bit slow on one end of our table but not unreasonably. Music was fun my 11 year old and 6 year old grands were the only children. They had a ball, danced the whole night. Food very good. The group as a whole thought it was a wonderful choice. (mine).

Beautiful place and great atmosphere. Our food was BAD. Cold lobster ravioli and Luke warm beef ravioli. 2 of us had French onion soup. Luke warm and flavorless. One person did not eat hers other person added salt and did eat it then got very sick 2 hours later. Felt very sorry for the waitress she had to know but kept a great attitude. NOTE. We were that at Christmas and food was amazing NOT now

Bike fest. Limited menu. The chicken sandwich was or seemed like microwaved. Not color and the meat was very bland. The burgers where probably cooked the same way. We had a party of 8 people, not one of us where happy with the food. Service was good, friendly staff. But $12.50 for microwaved chicken with chips and coleslaw. I don’t care to go back.

Don’t go at lunch time if you don’t have time to spend 90 minutes.
They rarely have more than one server, the owner will walk through, but doesn’t seem to care that the service is extremely slow. Asked for a lemon with my iced tea was told “I don’t have time to cut one”. Really?
Food is ok. Atmosphere is nice and you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy it because you will be there forever.
