We tried the pizza fries for an appetizer, they were good but I feel like a little garlic powder or salt would make them amazing. I got the Santa Fe chicken wrap with sweet potato fries and it was so good! My dad tried the “hells bell” burger and he smashed it! The service was good! Towards the end the bartender/ server got a little busy while we were waiting for our ticket but it was the beginning of happy hour. I’m glad we stopped in on our weekend in hays for the races.

The food had gotten to where I didt find it that great, and I stopped giving after being a frequent customer. I decided to give them another try a couple of months ago and the burger and home cut fries were delicious. The burger was seasoned well and the home c cut fries were crunchy on the outside and there was no fryer oil. On the post these fries were often soggy with cooking oil and that is partly why I quit going. I went again just recently and again had a cheeseburger, home cut fries, and s side of fried mushroom. The mushrooms were nicely fried, light batter and no cooking oil mess. The food was great. I spoke with the cook and praised him for the great food. He told me that he was able to make some changes in the kitchen and it really shows. It was obvious to me that the cook is passionate about turning out high quality, flavorful food. I now recommend Sip n Spin, the food is even better than it was at its best. The interior leaves a little to be desired and it could use an update as could the booths. The atmosphere was fine for a lunch crowd.

Was in there on 6/7/25, for a poker run.
Normally, when I go in there for lunch I’ve had nothing but good service. This particular dark haired bartender told me she couldn’t serve me when I hadn’t purchased anything. She was extremely rude from the get go, and when I asked why I couldn’t be served she said I’ve seen you in here before when you’ve drank too much. Which is odd, because I’ve never been there when she was working and I only go there for lunch. After being verbally. berated for no reason, I was immediately told to leave. Was told by several other customers she was rude to them as well.
After this visit, I would give no stars and it’s a shame that you have 1 bartender that can make an experience terrible. Might want to look into who you have working for you, and how they treat people when they are busy and under pressure. Would not recommend this place to anyone, unless you want to be yelled at for no reason. After being a customer at this business for over 20 years I’m appalled that you have people working like that for you.
