The Sinkhole Saloon & Grille at Palmyra Bowling is a family owned and operated business bought by Doug and Sue Eiserman in 1981. Doug an avid bowler, transformed Palmyra Bowling Center from a floundering business to a successful community entertainment venue that has become a Palmyra area treasure. The Sinkhole Saloon is proud to feature a wide selection of homemade food including 25 wing flavors, hand-pattied burgers and four different variations of mac-n-cheese. Today, their daughter Amy continues to promote Sue and Doug’s love for bowling, good food and support of local schools, community events and charitable endeavors.

Awesome venue for drinks and bowling. Large bar in the restaurant with a good variety of beers. Outdoor deck with lots of seating. Staff are amazing and very welcoming. Bowling alley is modern and spacious for groups. Definitely a great place for large groups. Super clean restrooms. Food is good but a bit in the pricey side.

Took the family to dinner for Super Bowl Sunday. Our server Idalys served 13 of us and handled it very well Everyone enjoyed the food. There were a couple things that came out incorrectly from the kitchen but it was removed from the bill without asking. All in all it was a very enjoyable experience.

FOOD POISONING!
Ate there after bowling on Sunday. We were the only party of 8! It’s currently 2:24 am, I’ve gone out both ends now since mid night. My 4 year old just blew chunks in his bed.
That was the icing on the cake though. We were the only people there, our waitress couldn’t even remember our drinks. The food took a good 45-60 minutes to come out. And now to have food poisoning from it as well.
Avoid this place at all cost. You can drink cheaper elsewhere too.

The service is horrific the last two or three times we have been here. We have spaced out our visits quite a bit yet there is always an excuse why the food doesn’t come out for over an hour or longer. Tonight Beth the waitress wanted to argue with me telling me I should come in a different night so I don’t have to wait…. Seems like a reasonable thing to do… whatever. We are done and won’t be back.

Ordered $70 worth of wings and fries. Did an online order and selected two sauces for the wings (which is an option they offer) and upon arriving they tell us that they no longer do that and that they “guessed” which one we would prefer. Also ordered a basket sized order of fries and the picture shown is what I received. Never going back after this.

This place has really gone downhill the last few years, unfortunately. We never come here expecting 5-stare fare, but they aren’t even getting the standard pub grub right anymore. My Reuben wasn’t bad and my wife’s quesadilla was passable. But all of the fries were lousy; somehow both under and over cooked. But most pitiful was our son’s “grilled cheese”. It was two slices of unmelted Kraft singles on two barely grilled slices of bread. Sad to see where this place is nowadays.
