This unassuming looking dining gem located in a small strip mall in West Allis is the real deal, serving authentic and delectable Thai food for over 30 years. With its extensive menu, and each culinary offering a masterpiece, you can’t just stop in once!

This is a nice authentic Thai restaurant with amazing food. I’ve visited this place after a long time after COVID and found it exactly the same. Food has flavors and authentic taste, thoroughly enjoyed it. Owner was kind and soft spoken. Best part is the price , just right ,not at all expensive.

I’ve been searching all over for Haw Mok Gai since 2004 and was very excited to see what seemed to be a version of it on Singha Thai’s menu – Hou Mok Pla! But it wasn’t the same. The Haw Mok Gai I’m used to has a very unique taste which is provided by dried kampfer. This must be a hard-to-find ingredient or maybe not commonly used because I’ve found both the dish and the ingredient literally nowhere in all my travels. But the Hou Mok Pla I had here at Singha Thai was ok. Being vegan, I asked for it to be made with tofu and they did so. A little bland and unexciting, but not bad. The appetizer of fried tofu was very, very dry and the sauce, while tasty, didn’t help overcome the dryness. My boyfriend’s Pad Thai was also just ok, he said it was a bit too sweet for his liking. We’ve eaten here a handful of times, spread out over the course of 25 years, and it’s always been the same. We keep hoping it will get better. It doesn’t, but at least it hasn’t gotten worse. This is a very middle-of-the-road place, don’t let the huge menu fool you. And why do they have white paper covering their nice-looking placemats? I don’t understand that at all.

Come here all the time for dinner and the lunch buffet (11AM to 2PM I believe), and the food is always great! The portions are massive, so don’t be thrown off by the slightly higher prices. The dishes are more family style actually, so come with a friend and share. Otherwise the buffet is usually delicious, and at $12 it’s reasonably priced. Highly recommend.

I had the crispy sesame shrimp and it was great. The salad is strands of carrots and cucumber with dressing.and it was delicious. Small breaded shrimp about 15 and crispy thin noodles with white rice and soy sauce for dipping. They also have a buffet, small selection of items but smelled good.

Tried something different and this is not it. Fried rice very salty and you can taste heavy msg. Nothing wrong with msg but when it’s too much, it starts to taste bitter. Roast duck with collard greens- wow! How disappointing. Chip size Bitter aged greens with probably yesterday’s leftover. We also ordered the Tom yum salad, idk what that’s supposed to taste like but what we tasted was sour and tomato. The only thing that we ordered that was good was the seafood curry. Oh and the thai iced tea was good. Our waiter was lovely and provided good service in a timely manner. Sorry I can’t return.

I have been coming to this place for years and never once have I been dissatisfied. One of the best Thai places in the area if not the state, egg rolls, pad Thai noodles everything is great. Lovely service if you want to dine in, but don’t be surprised if it’s busy because this is a popular spot.

I was looking for a new Thai restaurant to try on the south side, and decided to check out Singha Thai. I ordered the pad thai, and confirmed with the wait staff that it was available with tofu (it’s not a listed option on the menu). The portion size was very generous, and the taste was so fresh. The noodles and sauce were not heavy or sticky, which has been my experience at other places. I’m excited to come back!

My family and I came here while visiting Utah. The staff is so friendly… the food is delicious. The vegetable fried rice is out of this world! Perfect blend of spice to flavor. Anyone passing through the town has to eat here once. (We ordered one fried rice for takeout, came back for another in the same night.)
