Been here quite a few times and to say that I’m addicted would be putting it nicely. Service and staff are great! Food, by far, the best in the area. I try to pick something new everytime I go, but their bowls are amazing. I also never order app, a meal, and dessert when I eat out, this place is the only exception. If you have never been , thats stupid, go and have the best meal ever.

Excellent food especially the yucca fries. Some selection are odd for a Mexican/Southwestern restaurant like a pasta dish special. No tres leches cake for desert ☹️ Service was very good. The place is small and seating is very limited.

This is the quintessential friendly neighborhood restaurant and Bill, the chef-owner of this family-run gem is turning out an excellent series of staple menu items… but do yourself a favor and steer towards the specials menu… that’s where the magic really happens! I’ve been wanting to try this place for a while and finally had a moment to stop by. The vibe is cozy, neighborhood friendly, warm, and enjoyable. The staff are very nice, accommodating, and truly care. My fish tacos, however, were unoriginal and quite bland. Granted the tacos had the obligatory white sauce with some queso fresco and a flour tortilla, but they lacked anything to provide a memorable flavor profile. Even the rice and beans were extraordinarily forgettable. If you are looking for the vibes – check out this place. If you are looking for some yummy Mexican food – try somewhere else. I’ll come back again and give them a second chance, but I felt very MEH about my introduction to this Kentlands spot.

Cozy local spot with full bar and mexican fair. Huge fan of the bartender, this is a go to neighborhood spot for excellent cocktails. The bowls are behemoth-sized, but all portions are generous. Also, really loved the rice pudding.
