My husband, grandson & I enjoyed dinner Sin Fronteras on Rampart on Saturday November 1st. I’ve been wanting to try it for a while. We weren’t disappointed. Happy Hour options included a very good blanco margarita. We ordered Chips & Salsa…..really good house made Tortilla chips which seemed almost a bit puffy & they are yummy! The salsa is quite different & a small portion but worth trying. My husband’s Chili Rellenos were excellent! I enjoyed my Crispy Beef 3 Taco plate, they were good & our grandson enjoyed his Steak Fajitas which aren’t just grilled they’re in a red sauce of some sort. I asked for a spicy salsa & it was very hot but very good in small amounts on my tacos. The owner Jose was very personable tho busy. We enjoyed talking to him when he wasn’t busy with other diners. Everything at Sin Fronteras is home made & available for catering as well. We enjoyed our meal in this comfortable small restaurant & we will be back!

The food was just OK. We ordered tacos, chicken enchiladas and an asada burrito to go. Notably, the chicken for the enchiladas was cubed and spread atop cheese enchiladas. It was also very dry. To my surprise, peas, green beans, and corn accompanied the cubed chicken to create one very unique chicken enchilada topping. This was the first time any of us ever experienced a ‘deconstructed’ enchilada, and admittedly did not care for it. The wait time from order to departure was also over 30 minutes. Unfortunately, the house made chips was one of the few redeeming qualities here.

This is such a good spot- the food is delicious we have nothing like this on East Side. Every aspect of their foods has thought and purpose.
Last time I tried a Cali Burrito- the fries were perfectly crisp INSIDE the burrito- any other spot I’ve been too doesn’t care about stuff like that. This time I got fish tacos- delicious. Perfect amount of guac. Green sauce is delicious and perfect in every way- spice quantity, and flavor. Horchata is delicious. For the price- this place exceeds all of my expectations. This is MILPAS level good but half the price, this is a go to anytime I’m craving Mexican food in the area

I’m I’m being honest, the food was less than mediocre at best. I got takeout and ordered the Quesabirria but was given what looked like tacos with Birria meat inside; there was very little cheese, no char like most Quesabirria have. Just a half warmed flour tortilla with meat inside; very underwhelming. I also ordered a carne asada taco and that was horrible! The asada was cold and tasted old. They put some kid of red sauce on the taco and it tasted really bad and I’m not sure what kind of sauce it was. I also ordered rice and beans as well. The rice was undercooked and bland and the beans were about a 4/10 compared to other refried beans I’ve had. I ordered here because it was located close to my house and I specifically wanted a Quesabirria but after this experience I definitely will NOT be going back and STRONGLY recommend that if you want Birria – DO NOT order it from here! Definitely did not get my money’s worth!

This place is “hidden gem”. The food was delicious. I had 4 sauces with chips and they are really good! Highly recommend.

El pastor tacos were delicious— but no pineapple, so certainly not authentic. But I ordered and paid for three tacos- and paid $10+ plus tipped $2 as it was “to go” and was only given 2 tacos . Do I paid over $12 for two tacos— rip off. Opened package at home, so couldn’t deal with the issue at the restaurant. Make sure you check your order thoroughly BEFORE you leave. Not sure I’ll return as there are many other options in the valley.

This is a don’t-miss restaurant for yummy local Mexican food. Prices are reasonable and I can’t say enough about the food. It’s going to be our new regular hang out. The chips are superb, fluffy, crunchy, and fresh. They have a salsa for any type of flavor preference. Their carne asada tacos… I’m in love with! Next we’re going to try their ceviche with shrimp, cucumber, mango and more!

We went in over the weekend for a light lunch and we were not disappointed! The food was great – real, fresh, cooked to order. We had a chance to speak briefly to the owner Jose. He loves families and takes time to know the regulars. We had a cheese quesadilla and the taquitos and look forward to trying more items

Small hidden gem. This Mexican good is really delicious and this place should be busier. The chorizo is homemade and so good. The chips, guacamole, and salsas were very flavorful. The breakfast burrito was stuffed full of meat and the chilaquilas were perfect. They have a 10 taco platter 2 of each meat for $25 which looks like a great way to try everything they have. We will definitely be back.
