Calamari was terrible and raw in the middle, too much breading and no flavor, tom yum soup was delish, too many tomatoes but that might be how it is, flavor was on point, waitress was kind and removed the Calamari without me asking once she asked why I didn’t eat it, and I showed her it was raw in the center. I will definitely be back and have that soup again maybe try a protein dish that’s not fried.

Went to Simply Thai for a little afternoon snack to celebrate a friend’s mom’s birthday — such a cozy and welcoming spot! The staff were super friendly and made us feel right at home. We ordered some small bites to share and everything was tasty. I had the Thai tea, which was on the sweeter side but really delicious. A lovely place for a casual get-together!

I had an amazing meal here! I ordered the Pla Rad Prik (deep-fried salmon with chili sauce) and the seafood yellow curry stir-fry—both were outstanding. The salmon was perfectly crispy, and the sauce had just the right balance of heat and flavor. The seafood in the curry was great, and the big scallops were a delightful surprise.
For dessert, I had the mango sticky rice, which was fantastic. The touch of young coconut meat added a unique and delicious twist.
The service was excellent—friendly and attentive. They also offer a very affordable lunch combo, making this place a great value. Highly recommend!

Been coming here since it open and it has always been amazing. Hanged jobs so I’m not in this area much. It has been a year since I’ve eaten here. All the food was disappointing. Thom kha soup was flavorless. The red curry was almost all green beans. Never had those in red curry before. My thought is they must have new ownership. I would not chance it

Simply Thai has been a lunch staple for businesses in the area for years. Simply Thai is best known for its lunch specials, where you get two entrees, rice, and a spring roll for about $13. These specials will fill you up no matter what you choose. I recommend L5 and L16 (emphasis on L16).
I’ve never been impressed with the service. The employees are nice, but they either forget my order, forget refills, or on my most recent visit, forgot to bring water and plates until both food and appetizers had been delivered and we spent five minutes trying to flag someone down. The restaurant itself is fine, but there’s not a big difference in quality if you dine in or do take out.
I enjoy the pineapple wings. They’re very sweet with zero heat. They won’t land for everyone. The curry dumplings tossed in pineapple curry are decent. The curry flavors in any of the curries are good, but the chicken is incredibly dry. A different protein might be better, but the chicken isn’t good. Overall, I come here because my coworkers enjoy it and I’ve found dishes I like, but I enjoy all the other Thai restaurants in the area better.

We ordered pad Thai and Massaman curry. Pad Thai was fine – but this was not a good curry. Poor flavor – and the chicken was overpowering any flavor really. I eat a lot of Thai food and this was a lower tier spot. Way overpriced for the quality received.

This place was good not great just good not bad, just good. We got tofu spring rolls, pineapple curry with chicken, Massman curry with chicken, and chicken pad Thai. The chicken pad Thai was the favorite. The pineapple curry with chicken was very watery, and the Mamon was very thick with big chunks of chicken that you had to shred. The service was good. The prices were fair. The amount of food is what I would’ve expected and get at other Thai places overall again just good not great not bad just good.

My girlfriend and I ordered the green curry, and chicken satay. The green curry had the perfect amount of spice and flavor. The chick in the curry was tender, and the chicken satay was some of the best I’ve had. They made a wonderful peanut sauce for the chicken satay that was amazing. Best Thai food in the area.

The dishes may look like Western fusion, but the flavors are authentically Thai.
When you’ve lived abroad for a while, you start to miss Thai food deeply. I chose this place because it truly feels like dining at a restaurant back in Thailand — the atmosphere and flavors are spot-on. It’s no surprise that many foreigners come to try it and end up becoming regulars.
If you ever come to Utah, be sure to check out Simply Thai!
