This place was super vintage. I was on the road and stopped by for some lunch, and this was the place to eat! The food was so delicious and reasonably priced. It looks kinda like a house. The bathrooms were clean and spacious.

This cafe is in a really small town. We had made a day trip to go see waterfalls in Tennessee from Huntsville and we were hungry on the way. This place had a good rating so we stopped by. We showed up 5 minutes before they opened but they still let us go in and sit down. The ladies who worked there were extremely nice. The restaurant has all different kinds of dinner tables. You’ll most likely see a style someone in your family has had. I really liked the unique decorations and layout. It felt relaxing and fun to eat there. They don’t have a very large menu but I enjoy a minimalist approach. The food was incredible. We got country fried steak with mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese. First off, I’m picky when it comes to Mac and cheese and most places don’t have a good recipe. This was the best Mac and cheese I’ve ever had from a restaurant. The mashed potatoes were delicious too and the country fried steak with gravy was incredible. I’m so glad we stopped here. If we ever pass through we will definitely stop again.

The girl who was seating people was super friendly, but our waitress seemed bothered that we were there.
There is a menu on the wall that has a bunch of items on it but when there were hamburgers delivered to the table next to us, I was confused because those were not on the menu on the wall. We had already ordered by that time, so I did not inquire about that. I’m guessing there is a menu in addition to what’s on the wall?
We both had the catfish which was just ok. The okra and Mac n cheese were great! And the fudge pie was also fantastic.
I would stop here again if in the area and try something else I think. Maybe we caught them on a bad day.

Definitely worth trying! Great food and great service! We were driving home on our way from St. Louis and didn’t want fast food. Saw the reviews and knew we had to stop by! Try it! You won’t be disappointed!
