A very unassuming, yet comfortable place, reminiscent of a bygone era. And yes, you can eat in. Sausage, chicken and onions were great, as were the fries and coleslaw. Country fried steak was delicious and the baked beans were sweet and packed with flavor. We’ll be back!

I’ve been here about 3 times. The people are nice. But I got really sick the last time I went. I thought the chicken and the sausage tasted a little bit off… but the sauce sort of covered it. It was definitely food poisoning I got. I won’t go back. Unfortunate because there are very few restaurants around here.

Delicious and Friendly!! We were traveling 10 on the highway and found this gem on Google. BBQ chicken was amazing, potato salad was like my grandma used to make. My husband had the brisket sand and corn nuggets – he said they were both amazing! The local said you must try the Philly cheese sandwich! A must stop!

Best BBQ sauce around. My favorite is the Sampler Platter. Not only do I get to enjoy each of their meats but there is enough for a second meal. The baked beans are to-due-for. Also delicious are the greens and the potato salad. The atmosphere is soothing and the family owners makes you feel welcome.

This place is a hidden gem, and has been a favorite place of mine for years. The atmosphere is visually stimulating, and smells amazing. Living up to it’s name, this place keeps everything real Simple. The menu is straight to the point, and everything you would expect of a BBQ restaurant with the exception of one thing… mac and cheese. They do have a good amount of side dishes to choose from though, and all of them are delicious.

It gets an A for authenticity. This is the original that Cracker Barrel is trying to copy, complete with the random stuff hanging from the ceiling and walls. The fried chicken bites and fries are fantastic. Even the salad was good. Some other stuff tastes like it just came out of a can and that’s ok. The collards were over cooked but still tasty. The owner was very very friendly and kind and added to the experience.
