Social Profile:

At the Simple Goodness Soda Shop we take soda fountain classics, espresso drinks and craft cocktails and give them a modern day twist, with garden to glass flavors. The casual cafe fare is seasonal, homey, and often doused in syrup. The Simple Goodness Soda Shop is a tasting room, a farm to table café, and our production headquarters. Our menu is Americana comfort foods with an emphasis on local sourcing. We grow many of the ingredients for our drinks and food on our farm 4 miles down the road in Buckley, WA. We feature NW brands such as Full Tilt ice cream, Beecher’s cheese, Daniel’s Artisan cheeses, Tim’s Cascade chips, and more. Our pickles, panini spreads, sauces, syrups, and drink mixers are made from scratch in house.

Just a great place to have some good cocktails and relax.

Really cozy chairs and booths in yhe back room, or head out to the huge outdoor space…

Cocktails were great (our group enjoyed several marionberry monitor, vodka mules, and some custom Margherita’s for my wife)… the kids had a good time with table games and/or the tigard games outside.

If youre anywhere close to Wilkeson definitely check it out!

An unexpected surprise! Such a beautiful gem of a spot in the cutest little town. I love the syrups and goodies they have for sale. Ice cream with vegan options, cocktails, coffee and good food options. I grabbed a breakfast burrito but was torn between that and a sandwich. They have kale salad too. Dog friendly back patio. The atmosphere is 100/10. The staff are super friendly. It’s my new favorite place

Small town vibe with amazing first class service. The lady that helped me out made me an amazing latte and the Belinda sandwich which is a toasted turkey with pesto.

I asked her about the cookie and as a cookie snob I say this cookie hits the spot with the old fashion chewy and not too sweet childhood bakery cookie you are used to.

Not many gems left in WA and this is a 5 star.

Um. So cute! Lots of fun options for drinks, yummy ice cream and snack plates.

I had the ice tea with lemon herb syrup, so refreshing and not too sweet. Kinda sad it was so small lol

Hubs had a huckleberry float, little small but tasty.

Kiddo got a waffle cone with cookie dough and death by chocolate. Cookie dough definitely won out of the two. Cone was basic but okay.

Lots of seating available, spots for the kids to entertain themselves. It does get a bit loud in the indoor area.

I’d definitely stop in again.

There is something for everyone at this soda shop/bar/restaurant. So many free games for kids and adults to play. Plenty of seating both indoor and in their outdoor courtyard. Summertime there is live music that I can’t wait to come back and enjoy. My kids love the generous scoops of ice cream and the waffle cones are a must! This is our go to for family fun!

We stopped for ice cream after a day of hiking. The service was good and friendly, the ice cream was generous (1 scoop was enough for me!) and delicious. The waffle cone was homemade. The indoor space looks nice, we went outside where there is plenty of space and seats.
We did not try them but I saw that they serve yummy looking cocktails and even offer a flight of cocktails to try multiple at once ( I love the idea!).
Nice little place in a cute old town, worth a stop.

Super cozy, kid friendly, great hospitality. The quality of the sandwiches and food is all that. You don’t get good stuff like that these days, but you do at the soda shop. Traditional things with a twist! And the simple goodness sisters syrup is to die for. Great place to drive for a bite, stop next door for killer pizza to take home and they even have a cool coffee shop. Don’t forget to try their ice cream too!!!! Thanks for building such a cool place! We will be back!

I try to go once a week, partly to support a small town business, but mainly to have their substantial turkey sandwich out at a quiet table under the trees. (They do have plenty of indoor seating, too.) On a Thursday or Friday, it is a great place to hide with a book in one hand and a lovely sandwich in the other. If it is the weekend, I buy their ice cream. The place has personality, very genuine character.
