The frozen beef buns have too much seasoning. However, the frozen chicken buns are quite good. You need to steam them for about 20 minutes on high heat. The man working the counter is also a bit strange. I only stop by when I am shopping at H Mart or running errands on the west side.

The two entree lunch combo was ok. I had the rice, salmon sinigang, and pork steak with onions.

I also ordered halo halo which was fantastic.

Service was friendly and the place was clean.

Gave it three stars because the portions were small and the halo halo was pricey.

I’d come back but not in the immediate future.

The ube hopia was old, dried with little ube filling, and pricey for the quantity and lack of quality. No expiration dates on the pastries and bread. The empanada is also very dry and crumbly. The siopao was pricey and doughy.

I only gave it another star only because the putok is great but only when its fresh. Called when they opened to confirm when they will bake it. Lady over the phone said 1pm. I drove all the way to this place and then when I had asked for the fresh putok she gave me attitude and said to get the old ones because they didnt make it yet. Not to mention all the other times she given me the wrong information. Fire her and get someone new. If shes the owner work on your people skills. These other reviews on here is a joke, just like this place. Food is mediocre at best.

I bought three items for almost $18, a pkg of 6 ensaymada, 5 ube hopia and 8 pandesal. The hopia was delicious, light flaky crust and smooth, tasty ube filling. The ensaymada was not fresh at all, tasted like it was a few days old. Ensaymada is usually light and fluffy but these were hard to press, didn’t even soften much when I heated them. The pandesal was ok. IF I go back, will probably only get the hopia.

The pandesal is very close to what you get in the Philippines. Very good. Their Spanish bread is great.
Their breakfast food/buffet however is subpar. Rice was hard and not cooked well. Barbeque was tough to chew. The halo halo was pretty bad. They tried too hard to be original and ended up with a not so great product. The cashier seemed uninterested to help customers while making us wait for her to finish using her phone. They should stick to pastries/baked goods and forget the food. Also should work on their customer service and at least pretend to be happy to serve the people. The store has a lot of potential but a lot of work to do as well.

The beef tapa in our Tapsilog was tender & delicious. The Bbq ckn in our Bbqsilog was tasty, medium-well, came in big portions, & was served w/ TWO bbq sticks rather than 1 in other places. 🙂 the serving of a small appetizer salad was a nice add’l touch. the Ckn Mami noodle soup tasted gr8, & came in a bigger portion than expected pleasantly! in add’n, service was fantastique by a smiling & happy-2-work-there Marvin. We definitely ‘ll b back & intro our friends 2 this hidden place in a strangely-designed mini-strip mall! 🙂

Ordered Tapsilog for $7.00- fair. Also ordered eggroll-like it.
To go, ordered Brazo Mercedes too- good, not too sweet.
Will come back for the pastries.
Place is clean and does observe COVID safety protocol.
