We stumbled onto this place driving around trying to find dinner at around 1030 at night. We were from out of town and didn’t know what we wanted. We saw this place and saw the two cars in front of us turning in there so decided it must be good. I’m glad we did because the food was so good. The birria tacos were some of the best I have had. Crispy and full of meat and the consumme was delicious. The portions are huge and the price is very reasonable for what you get. We ate till full and had leftovers to take home. They have a great selection of Mexican and other Latin based glass bottle soft drinks to pair with your meal. The food was hot and came out fresh. The burritos were HUGE, the birria burrito was as big around as my forearm and about 10inches. Good luck finishing it in one sitting or not feeling beyond full after. I recommend this place HIGHLY and suggest you pay them a visit, very worth the money and you won’t regret it. We will be back the next time we are in Sioux Falls for sure.

Being an Mexican-American & after 10 yrs going to different Mexican restaurants in Southwest MN & Southeast SD this has been the most accurate, authentic and delicious food ever!!! KUDOS to the cook, food literally tasted just like it was coming straight from my mom’s, or mother-in-law’s kitchen!!! I have finally found the ONE thanks to a good friend!!! Prices are great and reasonable as well!!! And I didnt have to wait long for my order the be ready!!!

I picked up a couple steak tacos to give the place a try. The tacos were piled up pretty good with steak, and the flavor was good with lots on onions and cilantro. Unfortunately there was 2 decent sized globs of chewy fat in the second taco, but I was giving it a pass on that because that’s often a thing with steak. I left with a decent feeling about the place.
However I woke up the next morning with stabbing pains in my gut, and had to call into work. I tried calling them 2 times with no answer, to let them know about it. Here I sit on the throne at 1pm having not made it back to work yet.
Decent food but definitely not worth the food poisoning. There are several other reviews that mention this as well… be warned. To bad really, I had high hopes for another delicious Mexican place to go to.

We ordered 1 birria chimichanga it came with birria cup. And what tasted like enchilada sauce (which was real good), and 1 red 1 green sauce. Those were also really good. Spicy red, lime flavor with spice for green. The other item we ordered was lengua tacos, meat was so tender and well seasoned.

Great little independent Taco shop. Menu changes occasionally, it wasn’t the same as what I saw on Google but I loved the taco combo I bought. Very reasonable prices for really nice tacos. I did steak tacos and they were very nicely done.

Honestly this might be the best Mexican food I’ve had in my life. It’s better quality food and better tasting than any Mexican restaurant I’ve been to. It has diverse Mexican cuisine. You can taste the freshly cut vegetables, if you haven’t tried it you are missing out!

This is seriously the best Mexican food I have ever had in my life! It is made fresh, and I have had several things on their menu and it was all amazing! They have a variety of options to pick from and the staff has always been friendly even when there are rushes. Today I had their surf n turf burrito it was so good it came with perfectly cooked and seasoned it had steak, shrimp, and potatoes! It also had rice in beans! It was a large portion but it was completely delicious!!! I highly recommend this place seriously go try Simon’s Tacos!

Great fresh food, good price! I’m here visiting, and this is the real deal! Fish taco and shrimp tacos were amazing! Huge pieces of fish and huge shrimp, seasoned and grilled. Chipotle sauce was good and smoky without being spicy. Can’t wait to come back for breakfast!
