my fiancé and i went here for the first time for our anniversary dinner. i got the pierogi stroganoff and it was amazing! and the key lime pie was truly special! even more impressive than the food, though, was the service. our waiter was super attentive the entire time. when we were first seated, the lighting at the table was basically a spotlight down on us, so we asked if we could be moved to a different table within our waiters section (we are NOT complainers, it was just really intense bright light!), and our waiter kindly dimmed down the lights for us! he gave us great recommendations from the menu and we loved everything we ate. unfortunately we can’t remember his name. either way, we will be back! this is a great restaurant with great service, and great food!

I LOVE the breakfast burritos at Simmer. The nice girl who hands them out, Delia, is also the sweetest person on earth! She always remembers me and is really kind, which makes the atmosphere super enjoyable. (Especially with all this cold weather.) 🙂

I have been to Simmer a few times now and it has become one of my favorite restaurants in Fort Collins. I have an odd diet and they are so accommodating and do not price gouge. Delicious burgers and great service. Maddie and Toni are both so friendly and attentive. They both made a point to make sure we were being taken care of and make conversation when we invited it.
There is a tv in the side room which has a fireplace screen saver which is nice. However this last time there were commercials and while there is no sound, the change of screen and lights is distracting and takes away from the atmosphere. Despite this, I would still recommend sitting in this room as it feels cozy and is quiet.

Which is good, because the food is excellent! My deviled eggs were delicious, and the crab cheese wontons were some of the best I’ve had. My entree of poblano cream sauce with linguini and grilled chicken was also so good, I ate the entire thing (I don’t usually finish pasta).
The key lime pie i had for dessert was also too notch, and the service was great, everyone was friendly and attentive. Worth a visit if you are dining in Fort Collins.

We were especially impressed by our server Caden! From the time we sat down, to the time that we left, she was making us laugh, checking on us often and making it such an enjoyable experience. She was extremely professional and on top of things and made us feel so welcome and cared for!
The food here is tremendous! Caden suggested the fish and chips which I got and it was delicious ! We will definitely be back as we plan to make this one of our new go to spots and hopefully we can have Caden as a server again!

Great atmosphere, very warm and inviting. Great meal, ordered burrata for our appetizer and mango fish for our main meal. Both delicious! But best part of the evening was the service. Anastasia was great!! She took time to answer all our questions about the menu and was very attentive to our table, even with a full house! Highly recommend Simmer. And thank you to Anastasia for such great service!!

It was our first visit today. We ate an early lunch on a Friday afternoon. Estelle was our waitress and she was very sweet and helpful. They have a nice selection of local beers and creative mixed drinks. I had the fish and chips which were perfect crispy on the outside and warm on the side, just the right amount. My wife had the brussels sprouts for an appetizer and beet salad for her main course. She said that both were fantastic. I really like the vibe here you could tell they spent a lot of money on the artwork on the walls and the music was perfect. Nice background not too loud. I would highly recommend Simmer!

We celebrated a birthday with a group of 9 and had a wonderful experience! The tofu lettuce wraps were excellent, and the tofu satay was nicely prepared, though a bit mild in flavor. Cocktails were creative and delicious. Our server was very helpful, checking ingredients for dairy or eggs and even substituting tofu for the kids’ chicken nuggets. It would be great to see menu indicators for vegan options, a vegan dessert, and dairy- or egg-free sauces and cheeses. Overall, we’ll happily return!

It had been awhile since we had visited Simmer. The newly-added “speakeasy” space was very nice. The food was delicious and the service exceptional. Cauliflower wings appetizer, Maryland crab cakes (which I had for dinner), and my husband’s chicken satay were all excellent. My only suggestion is that they add a couple more mocktail options. The hibiscus, cranberry mocktail was great, though.

This was a great restaurant! Fast, friendly service, delicious food and great service from Anastasia! As a celiac, I really appreciated that gluten free items were marked clearly and I was offered to select it as an allergy. The chicken satay was a generous portion and so tender and delicious! I appreciated a good serving of vegetables on the side for a healthy meal rather than the garnish you get at some places. My husband loved the poblano chicken linguini. Would recommend!
