My friend selected Silvio’s for his birthday dinner – we frequented there February 2023.

Great food and service. Nice wine selection. What I noticed most was how fresh the everything was (from the salad vegetables to the seafood)

Visiting local friends from out of town and they brought us here. Wonderful experience! Very nice drinks and glasses of wine to start. The romaine salad was incredible… grilling the lettuce made it taste slightly smoky or charred, but incredibly, it imparted a unique and wonderful taste. The dressing was rich and flavorful. Pasta was perfectly cooked. Everyone loved their meal. Try the chicken oatmeal, the bolognese, aglio e olio, or the chicken Silvio… all were fantastic. The only downside was that they had a problem with a freezer that impacted dessert. They did not have any Lemoncello Cake. We were looking forward to that but had a very good apple caramel cheesecake in its place and loved it. Highly recommend Silvio’s! TIPS: 1) make a reservation days or a week in advance, and 2) parking is limited and it is next to other businesses, so you may be on the street…they do have a handful of spaces behind the building.

This place is AMAZING! The server had good recommendations and knowledge about the wines. Everyone who stopped at our table was so personable and made us feel very welcomed. It was a last minute decision and luckily someone didn’t show up for their reservations so the host called us back and got us in right away. My bestie and I were very happy with our choice for girls night!

We had an amazing experience at Silvio’s this evening! From the food, to the atmosphere, to the hospitality, it was perfect. Loved getting to meet and chat with Silvio himself and he really made us feel like family. My veal parm was perfect and my husband’s pork chop was so tender we could cut it with a butter knife. Oh, and don’t skip that lemoncello cake- it’s like eating a light fluffy lemon cloud! YUM! Their bourbon selection is quite nice too. Really so happy we stumbled upon this place- it’s such a gem! When we’re back in town we will definitely be back!

My mother bought her husbands favorite cake and brought it to the restaurant for his dinner. She ordered this cake a week in advance to make sure that he had it on his birthday. We had reservations and there were 6 of us. We ordered appetizers and wine and drinks. But the first thing that the hostess and waitress tell my mother when she walks in the door is that there is a $25 ‘cutting’ fee for bringing your own dessert if you want to eat it there. When she asked them what that meant, they acted rude and condescending.

Went with a group after hearing fabulous things about Silvio’s. Maybe it was a bad night? Skipped the salad (+$9) and glad I did based on the reviews from others in my party. I had the Pasta and seafood. The seafood was cooked wonderfully. The sauce was beyond disappointing. Skim milk is thicker than this sauce. None of it adhered to the pasta itself. Bland and flavorless.

Some friends and I had a lovely dinner together at Silvio’s. The staff is friendly and so attentive. I had the Rice Ball appetizer and it was so tasty. Crunchy Parmesan crust and soft rice filling sitting in a pool of delicious marinara. I had the mussel appetizer as my main course and it was perfect. A huge serving of mussels in a savory broth. We were too full for dessert but I have had their Italian cream cake in the past and it is crave worthy.

The restaurant is in a good location but there is limited parking. We were greeted immediately by the hostess. Although we did not have a reservation, she found a table for us by the window. Our waiter arrived almost immediately and pointed out the specials for dinner. My wife and I ordered one of the specials, Chilean sea bass, and split it. There is a charge of $4 to split a plate. The sea bass was cooked perfectly and was scrumptious. However, the complimentary bread was burnt (see picture) at the bottom. A restaurant of this caliber should not have served this bread.

What a fantastic birthday dinner. We went to Silvio’s and had a great time. We ordered bruschetta to share as an appetizer, Ziti ala Vodka, Aglio e Olio and Tiramisu + Lemoncello cake for desserts. All in all, a nice way to celebrate.
