This is a busy, lively, truly family-run neighborhood Italian spot, and you can really feel that when you walk in. The owners were incredibly warm and attentive — they came out to check on tables, chatted with guests, and clearly take pride in what they do, which we loved.
We tried the vodka sauce pasta and the lasagna, both of which were very rich and comforting — definitely classic, old-school Italian portions. The rice balls were fun to try, though we found the texture a bit softer than we expected.
Overall, the atmosphere and hospitality were the highlights of our visit, and it’s clear this place is a beloved local spot.

Absolutely lovely restaurant, went on Valentine’s Day with no reservations and they squeezed us in. Everyone was extremely pleasant and the food was absolutely phenomenal. Other reviews said it was family owned and while I didn’t know that while being there it showed. Multiple people came out to talk to us and make sure we were having a good night, and to chat and ask what we had ordered. The atmosphere was extremely cozy but lively.

My wife and I went for our first time for our anniversary. Food is absolutely delicious. We shared an appetizer of toasted ravioli. I could have had my fill on those alone. I ordered the meatball lasagna and I can say it was the best lasagna I have had. My wife got the baked ziti and it did not disappoint. Service was amazing. The owner makes his way around to the guests and is very nice and friendly. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience.

Pretty good Italian food. I liked the seafood pasta. The owner (Silvio?) came by and was a bit handsy with some of the young women in my group, which made them uncomfortable.

Food and service are excellent!! Wife ordered the Chicken Alfredo and I had the Veal Parmesan. I highly recommend this small Italian restaurant. The chef and owner also came around to check on everything which just added that perfect touch.

We were visiting town and happened to see this place and wanted to give it a try. We didn’t have a reservation and they were very busy, but the hostess was so kind and thoughtful. She found a lovely little table for us. The food was absolutely amazing. We had the mussels and baked ziti. The service was flawless and the food was some of the best Italian I’ve ever had. Cannot recommend this place enough!

The food was amazing! We had the meatball lasagna, rice balls and cannolis. All was top notch. The owner was super nice and we loved how he came around to the tables. The waitress was very nice and always available as was the water guy. My only complaint was the lady seating people was rude. Said they had a table but we had to leave by 6pm. We had no idea that we needed reservations as Google didn’t say anything about needing reservations. We almost walked out due to her rudeness. Glad we didn’t but she was rude to others as well, like telling the people in front of us to close the door so it does get hot in there. Highly recommend the place but hope they do something about the rudeness of the hostess!

On a quick visit to Louisville for a cheer competition, we were looking for an unfussy Italian spot and Silvio’s was just what we were looking for. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was comfortable for our family. The staff was warm and welcoming and the owner came by to check in and chat. We will definitely be back the next time we are in town!

Went with several people. The waitress seemed to want us to rush thru our dinner. There were only 6 of us. The food was good, some dishes seemed to have more per serving than others. The sauce was great. Good selection of desserts. I suggest the ravioli with a meatball.
