Silvio’s Brazilian BBQ is located in the heart of the South Bay just steps from the sand on the exciting Piper Promenade in Hermosa Beach, Ca. Specializing in grilled meats and seafoods, Silvio’s provides delicious sandwiches, salads, BBQ Plates, appetizers, and ala carte meat to our guests year round. Silvio’s patio overlooks the pier, beach and ocean. We provide 15 craft draft beers and 47 craft canned beers for your beer loving enjoyment! We also serve delicious sangria and our house cocktails called “Caipiroska’s. The restaurant is available to book private parties and events with custom beverage and food packages. Our Happy Hour is Monday to Friday serving half off appetizers and half off select craft beers, wines, and cocktails.

Marcia and Adriano are amazing chefs and hardworking owners. I’m from Brazil and can confidently say this food is authentic and represents Brazilian food so well!
Parking can be challenging depending on the day since it’s a prime location on the same path as Hermosa Beach pier! Very cute place and welcoming environment, there is a patio where you can enjoy the ocean breeze and live music from next door.
I’ll be back and 100% recommend to those who miss Brazilian food and those who have never tried it before too.

Food is absolutely amazing! By far the best brazilian bbq spot in the South Bay. Unfortunately the service is below average. The server has a bit of an attitude and treats you like she doesn’t want you there. Will likely grab takeout next time to avoid the hostility..

I was referred to this place by one of my Brazilian colleague and tried it for dinner last night. Food was great, very authentic like home cooked meal plus we were serenaded by a great acoustic singer! Eduardo, the owner was very personable and service was great by the statf! Ambiance was awesome, its by the beach – great place to entertain friends from out of town or even as simple date night!

My hubby and I were out enjoying the Cali sunshine and stopped into Silvio’s for an outdoor lunch. The food was tasty but it didn’t knock our socks off. The service was slower than expected, even though it didn’t look especially busy. Overall an okay first time but we probably won’t rush back. I will say the drunken shrimp was good, the best part of the meal.

If you are a steak lover, do yourself a favor and go no further than Silvio’s. You can smell the steak from Hermosa Ave. Food was beyond excellent in presentation and taste. It’s one of those places you are glad you took a chance on because it’s so unassuming. Best restaurant by the pier.

After enjoying the street fair, we decided to get a bite to eat. Good, hot and was delivered quickly. The frozen drinks are delicious, a must on a hot day. The staff checked on us several times and we had a good time. Lots of beers on tap to chose from. Family friendly dining too.

Fantastic view of the ocean and beach. Great specials at lunch and on weekdays. We actually were walking to the Tuesday burger special at Hennessey’s Tavern, which we go to often. They caught our eye. This was a perfectly cooked juicy burger with great, strong seasoning and fresh toppings. We got a side of fries, which were delicious and crispy from the blisteringly hot first bite to the last cooled fry. We may have a new beach side burger Tuesday joint with a slightly improved view! It’s a solid jump in quality for what you usually find in Hermosa, especially this close to the water.
Staff were friendly. I like the menu a bit more at the Redondo location but you can’t beat the view and vibe at the beach. We’ll be back to try the extensive drink menu

What a gem on the Hermosa Beach Pier! Panelas HB exceeded my expectations for a first visit. The service was absolutely amazing—attentive, friendly, and made me feel welcome from the start. The ocean view is incredible, offering the perfect beachside ambiance for a relaxing meal.
I had a caipirinha that was perfection, paired with their delicious chicken plate (served with white rice, a fresh green salad, and crispy fries). Everything was so flavorful and cooked just right.
If you’re looking for great food, drinks, and stellar views, this is the place. I will definitely be back! Highly recommend.

I rarely leave bad reviews, but this visit was truly underwhelming. The service was inattentive and slow — we had to flag someone down just to get water refilled. As for the food, it lacked flavor across the board. Everything tasted bland, like the chef forgot to use salt or any seasoning at all. Nothing stood out, and for the price, I expected much better. Sadly, I won’t be returning or recommending this place.

Silvio’s South American in Hermosa Beach boasts a prime location and offers a good service. However, as a Brazilian, I must admit that the flavor of the dishes did not meet my expectations. It is important to note that taste is subjective and can vary according to individual preferences. Nevertheless, considering the prime location and good service provided, I still recommend it.
