Silver Spur is hands down my favorite restaurant in Santa Cruz County.
The new Watsonville location is absolutely beautiful—they did an incredible job with the remodel. It’s spotless, welcoming, and just feels right the moment you walk in.

The staff are truly one of a kind—so kind, attentive, and genuinely warm. Special shoutout to my favorite servers, Karina, Felix, and Reanne. From the second you walk through the door, you feel like you’re home with family, not just dining out.

The food is consistently high-quality and delicious. Breakfast and lunch are both amazing. My go-to breakfast is the chorizo Benedict (with avocado—highly recommend!), and I also love their sausage, eggs, spinach and mushrooms, French toast and pancakes. For lunch, you honestly can’t go wrong—I love all of their salads and sandwiches, and their soups are incredible. Every Wednesday they have the moco Loco, which is absolutely amazing. On top of that, they make homemade muffins every single day, which is such a special touch.

If you’re anywhere near the area, Silver Spur is a must-go. Amazing food, beautiful space, and the kind of service that keeps you coming back again and again

Super stoked to see the beloved Silver Spur in Watsonville.

Great food as always. Had the country fried steak with some potatoes and eggs. All super tasty. Had some of the homemade salsa. Fire.

Promptly seated and turn around was pretty quick. Your coffee cup does not stay empty here! Would not mind coming back on a regular occasion.

Has a similar theme to the original Santa Cruz location. There is a different layout. Very clean and cozy.

Finally made it to this new breakfast spot in the East Lake shopping center in Watsonville. Had the chicken fried steak. Gravy was a little thick for my licking. Steak was cooked well. I asked for the hash browns to be cooked on the crispy side, perfect to request. I did not like the coffee served here. Not sure what brand they use. My dad had the chilaquiles special. 2 people, 2 plates with coffee and water came out to $50….a little steep. Oh well, sign of the times.

I cannot say enough about this place. First time eating there this morning and it was a treat! The service is top notch. Watching them happily, and literally joyfully, work was really nice. You don’t see young people enjoying their work much nowadays. The food was incredible. Don’t judge the country gravy by it’s appearance, because it was REALLY lumpy and kind of unappealing. Looked like cottage cheese I made my husband sample it first ,and it was delicious. The chicken fried steak ( listed as a country fried steak ) the gravy, and the country potatoes is where it’s at! The jam and salsa is all house made. Where do you find homemade jam?? Highly recommend and worth waiting a decent amount of time to eat there. There’s also one located in santa cruz, but the wait time was prety wild.

Welcome to the neighborhood, Silver Spur! Everything was brand spankin’ new and we loved the local vibe.

Huge portions! We tried a little bit of everything!

* Pancakes were super fluffy

* Hubby got the Lingcod fish special. Fresh and served with a mango salsa and tartar sauce.

* I got an egg white omelette. The Western was filled with diced ham, onion, and bell peppers. I added avocado. It was pricey at $4, but it was a lot of avocado.

* The home fries were the best part! They were seasoned really well.

* Muffin and flour tortillas have an upcharge, just fyi

* Loved the two homemade salsas

We didnt have to wait at all for a booth. Stopped in on Thursday morning around 10am. Plenty of parking. Located in East Lake Shopping Center.

Food was good. Has browns were a little too cooked. They were dry and the sourdough was toasted little long. French toast was good. Voices echo so if you have people with sensory issues try to sit outside.
