The pizza was unique and fantastic. It’s a small, family operated business, mom, dad, and three kids, so be ready to be patient. I thought they were pretty quick getting our food to us, considering they were down to four workers the night we were there. But even if we had to wait an hour, the food was well worth the wait. We stopped by earlier in the day to let them know we would have a group of 11, and I think that helps them prepare. Next time we go I’ll check in with them the day before.

My wife and I were here the first week of June. It was already late, just a bit before closing, and the restaurant staff/family still let us come in, serving us a full meal without any pressure to leave. We had been hiking all day, in the cold and rain mostly, and their hospitality was treasured. The service was exceptional through their generosity and kindness. And the pizza was amazing. Our family ate here our first night in Lake City, and it has to be the best pizza we’ve had! The toppings are fresh and plentiful, but the crust MAKES the pizza! The owner and her daughter were so friendly and attentive, and my husband and daughter enjoyed playing some pool while we waited. The bar isn’t “central” to the experience, but they had a great selection. My daughter really appreciated the option of vegan cheese (dairy allergy). We will be back!

They seemed unhappy that people were there and took 15 minutes to seat us. There was one other table there. They also would not take our order, made us order water before we could order food, and then walked away when we tried to order. Another couple also ended up leaving because of how slow they were. The pizza might be good, but I will never know.
