Getting better and better! New non-smoking addition with stage, pool table, and garage door, which opens to a beautiful welcoming beer garden. New wheelchair-accessible bathroom. New men’s and women’s bathrooms. Additional improvements currently under construction. This is more than a face-lift!

I was going to move to Hawaii and live on the ocean in a nice little jungle home but I decided I can’t because they don’t have the silver dollar. Magic carpet ride drinks. That means when you hit the floor face first, it doesn’t hurt. Magic.

Not a food venue unless you like frozen pizza, but they do regularly have food trucks. Since changing ownership a while back the bar has undergone huge changes and a remodel that is ongoing. They have successfully shaken the dive bar (like, the bad kind of dive bar) image without losing the flair of a local neighborhood bar. The new beer garden and non-smoking room is great and I can’t wait to see what unfolds as the upstairs is completed. My local hangout!

It’s a fun place to go. It is being upgraded. Witch it needs badly, new owners new drinks, new atmosphere. bringing in new crowds from nearby towns, mixer of young and older peeps. Live music in summer sonar but it may change once they are finished with the add on. Come hang out!!

THE STAFF IS ONLY GOOD TO YOU IF YOU ARE A REGULAR! For example, Shanna & Robin are extremely biased on who they treat well depending on how often you come in and how much you spend. The patrons Tina & Terry have threatened me and tried to start multiple fights with me. Mind you they are 30 years my elder. If you are looking for a relaxing time without drama, SILVER DOLLAR IS NOT THE PLACE TO GO! Even people that grew up in this community know that! From now on I’ll be going anywhere else because Silver Dollar does not respect their patrons and they’re extremely racist with all of the talk they do about anyone that isn’t white. If you want to get into a fight where the bartender pours your drink on you and patrons are interfering, this is the place. Otherwise, I suggest avoiding Shanna, Robin, Tina and her man Terry. They all play dirty and out of sight so watch your backs all.
