Restaurant was busy on a Sunday morning so service was understandably slower than other places. Ordered corned beef hash was very good. Coffee was satisfactory and bottomless. Atmosphere was fun although line for songs is probably too long to play what you want.

Silver Diner absolutely delivered! The food we had was incredible from start to finish.
Those 2 sandwiches? The short rib melt and that crabcake and lobster melt 10/10. Packed with flavor, perfectly balanced, and cooked to perfection. You can tell real care goes into the ingredients.
The cold-pressed juices are a MUST HAVE. Fresh, vibrant, and the perfect complement to the meal.
And let me say this… the fries taste like what McDonald’s fries should taste like. Crispy on the outside, fluffy inside, seasoned just right.
The pancakes were OMG good — soft, buttery, and next level. And that scrapple? The best I’ve ever had. Crispy edges, flavorful, and done exactly how it should be.
Now I understand what they mean by “farm to table.” Everything tasted fresh, high quality, and thoughtfully prepared.
Silver Diner is definitely a spot I’ll be back to. If you haven’t been yet… go.

I am furious about my experience at this so-called silver diner. I ordered the most basic American breakfast—scrambled eggs and well-done breakfast potatoes—and somehow these people managed to screw it up three times. Three. Times. It’s pathetic.
By the third failure, I demanded to speak to the manager, and that’s when things went from bad to infuriating. The manager, who appeared to be of Hispanic descent, had one of the worst attitudes I’ve ever seen in any restaurant. Instead of listening to me, he tried to push me into ordering something else because they clearly couldn’t figure out how to cook a simple plate of food. Absolutely ridiculous.
And the way he behaved? Completely unacceptable. While I was explaining what was wrong, he snatched the plate right out of my hand like I was the problem—like I hadn’t just been sitting there for over an hour waiting for them to do their jobs. He had zero interest in fixing anything, zero professionalism, and zero respect for customers.
How hard is it to scramble eggs? How hard is it to cook potatoes until they’re well done? Apparently impossible for this place. The kitchen is a joke, the management is worse, and the overall experience was nothing short of disgraceful. I’m beyond disgusted with this establishment.

Went there for the French Toast, which I am used to having at the National Harbor location. I asked for eggs – poached medium. They were practically raw. When my waiter came back, she said the Manager told her there was NO WAY to make poached eggs without them being runny, so I could either order them hard for a soft yolk, or order a hard boiled egg. Knowing this NOT to be true, but this was a “cheat” meal for me, and I was hungry, so I just went ahead and ordered the hard poached. When the eggs cam out, there was no difference. The Chef didn’t even TRY! I said “thank you” very politely, ate the egg whites, paid my Bill, tipped 20% and left.
Will I be back? Never.

We eat at silver diner most weekends as a family of 5. Both kids and adults are always happy with the food and service. The food is always on point and on time. The restaurant clean and the service nice! We get served by Ashley regularly and she is always courteous and hardworking. She always gets it right specially with our special requests. My family and i Definitely recommend Silver diner. We like that they have halal options.
Very disappointed at last weekend’s visit. Was served wings full of feathers and when addressed the issue with the manager he replied sorry they come like this sometimes. That gave me nausea all day long! No replacement offers and they made me pay for the wings i didn’t eat.
It’s been years we have been going to silver diner and we have never experienced leaving that place still hungry and nauseous. So we will give it another shot hoping that it was just a mistake even thought they had a chance to correct it on the spot which they didn’t.

This place was fantastic! It was our first visit and the food was delicious the atmosphere is inviting and the staff was amazing. The menu has something for everyone. Next time we’re in town I’ll definitely be back!

Great food, the Triple Pickled Chicken Sandwich was packed full of flavor, our children enjoyed the grilled cheese and Mac and cheese with a side of fresh fruit. My only complaint was that they charged 3.29 for a cup of regular coffee. It had an awesome environment! Our waitress was kind and attentive. Will definitely be coming back.

I just love this establishment. My husband and I went for breakfast, the menu is so diverse. I had the spinach and feta omelet, a side of their maple chicken sausage links, omelet came with a toasted Bagel and cream cheese. Also you could your choice of fried potatoes, a fruit salad or a side salad. Actually in my mind I toyed with breakfast food vs lunch food because I really wanted a salad. So when I saw the side salad option I thought no way! A win win in my book as I chose the side salad. Lol. I hadn’t had a chance to have my much needed cup of coffee, so that was a must. AND why not order a tropical mimosa! I was in breakfast heaven! Moses was our waiter, he was so nice and attentive! The atmosphere here is lively without being over the top. The music is very pleasant without being too loud. There’s always a nice mix of friendly patrons whenever we’ve gone. I only have great things to say about this Silver Diner. And yes, Hubby enjoyed his meal just as much as I did!

We come here all the time, the service and food are always great. Its one of the few restaurants that we’re confident the experience is going to be a good one every time, which seems to be rarer and rarer these days! We had Ola as our waiter today and honestly, he just set the bar even higher. He was attentive but not lingering. Very thorough with asking us how we wanted our food, even asked how we wanted our scrambled eggs (soft, med, etc). Just his overall demeanor was awesome, chill and kind. Overall fantastic customer service and food, we’ll be back soon!
