I took a dabble from everyone’s plates and there wasn’t a single thing that wasn’t delicious, you really can’t go wrong ordering anything on the menu.
Brownie was also incredible, clearly scratch made an incredibly tender.
Service was interesting given that it was a pre-opening working through some initial operating stuff, so if you go before they do their grand opening, you can expect it to feel a little unconventional, but where they are currently learning on the operations, they have food quality spot on…Every single plate that we had was singularly made, and the quality showed. Someone there knows how to cook!
Definitely recommend coming plan a little time as they go through the new restaurant opening hickups but you won’t be disappointed.
They basically have burgers, apps, bbq, fish, and dessert.
The burger was way over seasoned, fries were good. The rib I tried was amazing but were out of all other bbq.
Said I would come in 4pm the next day and was promised they would have some brisket.
Came in at 4 but we’re sold out of everything but burgers and wings. No bbq, no dessert, no ranch! Also took 10 minutes to get my drink despite being the 3rd person in the restaurant when I ordered.
Maybe the bbq is good but they can’t seem to keep anything in stock which may be a good thing for the business but unfortunately everyone that came in after 4pm was told the same thing. They were sold out.
The manager was gracious and apologetic though so I appreciate that but unfortunately I get off work at 3pm and if that’s too late then it’s not for me
The plodding pace of service is the opposite you’d expect for a restaurant where most of the food is already cooked. Most of what we ordered was left on the plate, because none of it was very good. The server knew absolutely nothing about the menu, how to work her handheld ordering device, or even steps of service. The only music in the place was a radio station being blasted from the kitchen, commercials and all. Of the many tvs in the building, just one was turned on, and played only the Roku screensaver. The decor was clearly left from the Mexican restaurant that occupied the space before bbq, with a few dollar store decorations haphazardly arranged around.
It genuinely looked like they decided to open their doors weeks before they were ready. On a Friday night at 7:30pm, we were the only customers in the entire restaurant. A surreal experience, to say the least.
