If you are looking for a truly exquisite experience for Thai food and gourmet cocktails, look no further than Silom Thai and Sushi Bar. We had wanted to try this place for a while, and it absolutely exceeded our expectations.
From the moment we arrived, the lively atmosphere was matched by the warm welcome from the manager, Nack. She was kind enough to share her time to explain the concept of their gourmet food and top-notch bar, setting the stage for a special evening.
Passionate Bar & Cocktails
The bar is a standout! We enjoyed both the Espresso Martini and the Key Lime Pie Cocktail. It’s clear that Bar Manager, LJ, is incredibly passionate about his craft, as all the cocktail ingredients are freshly prepared, resulting in perfectly balanced and unique drinks.
Mouthwatering Culinary Excellence
We started our meal with appetizers that showcased the kitchen’s delicate touch: the fried tofu, which was lightly breaded and served with a delicious plum sauce, and the crispy Brussels sprouts with goat cheese and balsamic vinaigrette. Both were excellent.
For our entrées, we chose two spectacular dishes:
• Fried Rice Truffle Steak: The steak was cooked to perfection, and the aromas of wok-fried rice and truffle were absolutely stunning.
• Beef Donburi: The homemade teriyaki sauce on this dish was amazingly balanced—sweet, savory, and deep in flavor.
Our dinner was followed by a brief but wonderful meeting with Executive Chef, Ron. His impressive pedigree and numerous awards explain the no-shortage of mouthwatering, creative food choices on the menu.
Perfect Ending and Service
We ended our visit with the Homemade Lychee Panna Cotta, an exquisitely light and refreshing riff on the classic dessert. And Thai Tea Crème Brûlée, a flavorful fun dessert.
The entire staff was friendly and energetic, and we found that parking was plentiful around the building. If you want a memorable, high-quality restaurant visit, we highly recommend Silom Thai and Sushi Bar.

We were so happy that we gave this restaurant a try.
To start we had the calamari with yum yum sauce and the breading was fried perfectly and the calamari had just the right amount of toughness to it.
The drink menu is EXTENSIVE, and we tried the “Caviar del Sol”. While the caviar was a little odd, the foam and drink itself was top notch. My wife, who does not typically drink, loved it.
For the main course, we had the yellow curry with chicken. The flavor was poppin’ just like the tomatoes, and the rest of the vegetables and chicken were perfect. They also asked us after we tried it if we wanted extra spice, but for us the level of spicy was great.
We also tried the Beef Donburi. The meat was cooked well and flavorful, but not quite to the same level of the curry.
The Christmas music playing was a nice touch, but a bit too loud.
Great staff, as we had multiple people check in on us, and our man waiter actually ran out with one of our jacket’s that we (I) left at the table.

We ordered roti, panang curry, yellow curry and a sushi roll.
The roti was very fresh and had a nice texture. Both curry dishes were rich and flavorful. The sushi was average (I’ve had better, but I’ve also had worse).
The service was prompt and friendly. Has a welcoming atmosphere.

We came here last minute for my daughter’s birthday and I must say the experience was absolutely amazing. The food is great. The drinks are awesome and the atmosphere is just overall worth going for the staff is pleasant. The bartenders are pleasant. The energy absolutely is over the top. I will be coming back again and I do recommend you all to taste their food. It is as delicious as it looks.

Had a business dinner here. Amazing place! The server JR was super friendly and made sure the food came out quickly and delicious!
